As the less expensive version of the 7135, the Air-O-Swiss 7133 is a dual, cool & warm mist humidifier with enough
output to relieve even the most severe dry air symptoms. With easy-to-use dial controls and almost a two gallon capacity, the
7133 can provide days of soothing relief. Whether using the warm mist feature that pre-heats the water to 104° F or the cool mist feature,
both can put much needed back in to the air during cold winter months when forced air heating systems dry your home out.
For allergy sufferers, adding moisture back in to the air can relieve dry and cracked sinuses while keeping your
skin soft and hydrated. By re-adding moisture you can also help protect wood furniture in your home and keep dust from
becoming airborne.
Each AOS 7133 comes with a demineralization cartridge to remove hard water mineral content that can clog and cause scale build up
around the internal components of your humidifier. A Hydro Stick keeps the water in the tank fresh and free of microbes. Convenient
and easy to maintain, the AirOSwiss 7133 humidifier is a simple and cost effective solution to dry indoor air.

Air-O-Swiss 7133 Ultrasonic Humidifier
Winter not only brings cooler temperatures and wetter conditions outside, but for most it means running the furnace
or a forced air heating system. The problem can be that these types of heating systems can severely dry out a home and all the people
living in it. Not only can extremely low humidity cause wood trim and furniture to crack, but low indoor humidity can cause dry
itchy skin, chapped lips, and dry, cracked or bleeding sinuses. One very simple solution to this is the Air-O-Swiss 7133. Efficient
and durable, this 7133 cool mist dehumidifier can put much needed moisture back in to your indoor air. After testing one for nearly
two weeks, this is how the AOS 7133 fared in my home.
What I like about the Air-O-Swiss 7133 Humidifier
Air-O-Swiss is a brand that has long been associated with efficient relief of dry conditions in your home, and the economically priced AOS 7133
is no exception. As the sister model to the top rated 7135, the 7133 provides the same relief for dry conditions with less expense. The moisture output
is enough to make even the driest home comfortable again, and with a large tank that is almost two gallons, you only need to refill it once
every day or two. Depending on your conditions, a full tank can provide soothing moisture for up to three days.
The effects of using the 7133 are almost immediate. By putting moisture back into the air quickly, the Air-O-Swiss 7133 can make sleeping comfortable. In
my home, the winter months mean waking up with a sore throat and dry sinuses. Using the 7133 in my bedroom eliminated that by bringing the moisture levels back up
to comfortable levels.
This model is quiet enough that it won't interfere with sleeping and doesn't feature some of the bright lights or LCD displays that make sleeping
difficult.
Despite the lower price and lack of a full digital interface, the Air-O-Swiss 7133 still provides a core set of excellent
features. With the ability to choose cool or warm mist, indicator lights to let you know when to refill the unit when when you are using
the warm mist features, and two dials gives you simply control over the moisture output and humidity level. So while you may not
see a digital reading of the current relative humidity, you have full control over how much moisture you put back in the air in your home.
Air-O-Swiss set itself apart from other brands with the combination of three key features: the Hydro Stick, the Ultrasonic Technology,
and the Demineralization Cartridge. The ultrasonic nature of this humidifier means safer use with no chance of a child or pet getting burnt by
boiling water if it is knocked over. The Hydro Stick helps to keep the water in the tank fresh and free of germs, while the demineralization
cartridge reduces the minerals in hard water.
Lastly, the warranty is one of the best in the industry. While you can most certainly find cheaper, Chinese made models, none will provide the
efficient humidification or the piece of mind that the Air-O-Swiss and its five year warranty provides.
What I do not like about the Air-O-Swiss 7133 Humidifier
With all the benefits of this model, I still personally prefer the LCD display. Though I do have stand alone hygrometers, the
relative humidity being displayed on the humidifier itself is still handy.
I've come to accept this with most models, but I still long for a model that is top-fill.
Overall, the AirOSwiss 7133 is an excellent alternative to the 7135, especially if you are willing to sacrifice a few digital features (ie. timer,
LCD display, actual relative humidity reading) for a better price. The maintenance costs are the same as all other Air-O-Swiss models, and the performance
is hard to beat when it comes to room humidifiers.
