combines an exceptionally sleek design with unbelievably simple operation. In this humidification system the
evaporator wick is saturated with water after which the fan forces dry air in the room through the wet wick,
releasing it as properly humidified air. Special guidance of the airflow permits an almost constant distribution of

I had been looking for ages for a top-filling humidifier for my ninety-year-old mom who lives alone. She can't lift the tank on the regular ones and lives in a very dry climate. This has been a life-saver for her - and the simple, easy slide on and off is a bonus for arthritic hands.

I hadn't had much luck with humidifiers. I've had older evaporator models before, and I always ended up tossing them after cleaning the tanks became too much of a hassle. I like this style though b/c they put out an actual mist. No mist from this one and no messy stuff growing inside of it. I've waited a good two months to post this and still no gunk. The bonus with this model is you can't hear it running! Very quiet and overall, a good product

Convenient and Easy to Use

I recently purchased this for the house. A friend recommended a humidifier since we heat the house with wood, AND I noticed my dog seemed to scratch a lot more during the winter. This airoswiss was easy to use. The top fill feature is really nice and saves from having to take it apart to fill. It has definitely helped with both me and my dog.

The AOS E2441 is a humidifier based on the principles of evaporation. In this system, the evaporator wick is saturated
with water. The unit's fan pulls dry air in the room through the
bottom of the unit and forces it through the wet wick, releasing the properly humidified air back
into the room. Airflow through the unit permits an almost constant distribution of moisture. The AOS E2441 is portable at
around 8 lbs., and it will be effective in rooms or living spaces up to 430 square feet.
What I like about the Air-O-Swiss E2441 Cool Mist Humidifier
Probably, the best quality of this humidifier is how easy it is to fill. You do not have to take the unit
apart and fill it under the sink. You are able to fill a pitcher up with water and to take the water to the humidifier.
The Air-O-Swiss E2441 claims to be the very first top fill humidifier. There is a floating device that rises to the top of the unit
when the tank is full. The float tip closes the opening as soon as the fill capacity is reached.
This design reduces mess and spills.
I tested this humidifier in my apartment. The air in my apartment is very dry which it makes it difficult to get a
good night's sleep. During the winter months, I almost always wake up with a dry cough and sore throat. I usually do not like
to use a humidifier in my bedroom, because I am a very light sleeper. The AOS E2441 was surprisingly quiet. The
near silent
operation of the fan did not keep me from falling asleep.
What I do not like about the Air-O-Swiss E2441 Cool Mist Humidifier
One thing I did not like about the Air-O-Swiss E2441 was that you cannot quickly glance and check the water level. You have to
look down into the unit and see the level of the float. Do not press down on the float tip, because you will spill
water out of the humidifier.
Though this was not an issue with me, but some may be a bit surprised at not seeing vapor or mist rising out of this unit. Unlike
warm mist or ultrasonic humidifiers, evaporative units like the AOS
E2441 do not emit a cloud or stream of vapor. So, much like a
humid summer day, the air is simply moisture rich.
In summary, the AOS E2441 combines simple operation with minimal energy use. The ability to fill the water in at the top
of the unit and not have to wrangle with a water tank is the best feature of the unit. The Air-O-Swiss E2441 is near silent, and its sleek design
minimizes its footprint in your bedroom or living area.
