Strong as armor and soft as silk, Allergy Armor™
Advanced debuted as the original Allergy Armor™
fabric in 2006. After five years helping allergy
sufferers rid their mattresses of dust mites, we
were not satisfied with the progress of technology
in the allergy relief bedding market, so we designed
and created our own fabric. Four years of research
and development went into the design, production,
and testing of Allergy Armor™ allergy relief
bedding.

The tightly-woven, 100% polyester Allergy Armor™
Advanced encasings filter out dust, dust mites, and
other allergens while maintaining a cool, breathable
airflow. Compared to
Allergy Armor™ Ultra, Allergy Armor™ Advanced offers the same level of luxurious
comfort; however, Allergy Armor™ Advanced has an average pore size of 6 microns, whereas
Allergy Armor™ Ultra has an average pore size of 2.8 microns. Therefore, while both
fabrics provide complete protection against dust mite
allergen, Allergy Armor™ Ultra offers better protection
against smaller allergens like cat dander. |

Measuring Your Mattress for
Allergy Armor™ Advanced Allergy Relief Bedding |
| It is important to measure the depth of
your mattress before ordering your allergy relief
bedding. Allergy Armor™ Advanced mattress covers come in
four depths: 9" deep, 12" deep, 15" deep, and 18" deep.
For mattresses 9" deep and smaller, order 9" encasings.
For mattresses with depths of 10" to 12", order 12"
encasings – and so on. Extra fabric makes installation
easier, and it can be easily tucked between the mattress
and box springs. |

Best defense against allergies

I have tried everything for allergies. I put off buying these because of the expense and I just couldn't believe it would matter. I recently saw an allergist and she recommended I encase my bed. I am so serious when I tell you it was a night and day difference. I was immediately able to stop my nose sprays. I woke up breathing and refreshed. It's been a couple of weeks now and I am amazed at how much better I'm feeling. I was worried about the covers being noisy or crinkly or hot for dh but they have been fine. I haven't had any issues with noise or heat. We are 100% thrilled with this purchase!

The complete package is the best deal by far! After many allergy tests my allergist suggested I purchase the achoo allergy bedding covers. At first I was a bit skeptic because why order online when I could probably get the covers at a local bedding store. Once the package arrived I immediately put the coverings on. They are smooth and fits the mattress perfectly. Also, the extra cloth does not make the bed warmer which is an absolute plus. Anyone with allergies esp to dust mites should purchase the package. I would recommend this to ANYONE.

I have had my bed encased for years now, and just love the way the polyester sheets wear and wear. When I recieved my Allergy Armor Advanced bedding package I was so thrilled to find the box spring encasing vinyl heavier and the sheets of higher quality than those I had bought from a competitor, and for less money!! Allergy Armor™ Advanced Allergy Relief Bedding: I have waited a long time
to test the Allergy Armor™ Advanced allergy relief mattress and
pillow covers. We began talking about creating our own
fabric over four years ago. Seeing and feeling the
actual fabric gives us a great sense of pride. Now for
the actual sleep test.
I was lucky because I was randomly chosen to review
Allergy Armor™ Advanced. It has created a buzz in our office and
everyone is excited to finally be able to offer it to
our customers. Whether you are allergic to dust mites or
not, using an Allergy Armor™ Advanced allergy relief mattress
cover will make your mattress last longer, and you will
sleep better.
Installation Test
I had my wife help me remove our AllerSoft mattress
cover from our bed which we had been using for over
three years. Unfortunately, no matter what type of allergy
relief mattress cover you chose, installing it is the
hardest part, especially with larger size mattresses
(and ours is a king). We took the mattress took the bed,
removed the AllerSoft mattress cover, and slipped on the
Allergy Armor™ Advanced allergy relief mattress cover, making sure
to start at the head of the bed and pull the mattress
cover down towards the foot of the bed, much like
putting on a sock. Then we zipped up the mattress cover
at the foot of the bed.
Summary of installation – no different than any other
mattress encasing – cumbersome, and easier to do if you
have someone helping you handle the mattress. We were
careful not to pull on the fabric too hard, knowing that
it is not designed to be stretched. Some people suggest
taping over the zipper with masking tape. We did not
elect to do this, since we put the zipper at the foot of
the bed, furthest from our head.
Sleep Test
We were blown away. AllerSoft is an amazing fabric, and
we had never had any problems sleeping on it, but there
is an incredible, noticeable difference between Allergy
Armor™ Advanced and AllerSoft allergy relief mattress and pillow
covers. The main difference was the decreased noise
level with Allergy Armor™ Advanced. We use pretty high thread
count sheets that have been washed many times so they
are very soft and thin, and we could definitely tell
that we had an AllerSoft encasing under our sheets. That
was not the case with the Allergy Armor™ Advanced. It is much
softer and quieter than the AllerSoft fabric.
Summary of sleep test – While a little more expensive,
Allergy Armor™ Advanced allergy relief pillow and mattress covers
are superior to AllerSoft allergy relief pillow and
mattress covers. The wait was worth it.
Wash Test
My wife does all of the laundry in our house. For
Christmas, since we had a new baby and the laundry was
stacking up, we treated ourselves to a new washer that
had a super hot hygienic cycle. My wife washed the
pillow covers repeatedly for a few days. She was careful
not to put any bleach or fabric softener in with the
wash. She dried the pillow covers on medium heat, and we
slept on them for a few nights and then repeated the
process. We both inspected the sewing construction and
it held up well, showing no signs of fraying or
weakness. We were also comforted by the fact that the
fabric carries a lifetime warranty.

If you are a sensitive sleeper or a hot sleeper, at the
very least, use Allergy Armor™ Advanced pillow covers to control
dust mites in your pillows. If you are a hot sleeper,
and if you want the very best in dust mite protection,
choose Allergy Armor™ Advanced pillow and mattress covers.
Positives – Quiet, comfortable, very hard to notice that
they were even there. Lifetime warranty.
Negatives – More expensive, cumbersome to install like
all allergy relief mattress covers.
