    mattress covers for dust allergy
Reviewed by: Judy from New Hampshire

Although the name is misleading they are not completely cotton, but blended with polyester, I found that didn't matter for the purpose I bought them. They fit well on the mattress, are inconspicuous and I have already forgotten about them, except that I'm less allergic than I was before. I also bought the cotton duvet covers but those were a disaster because they were hot, noisy and unusable.

    King Cotton Mattress Cover
Reviewed by: from Waynesville, North Carolina

I have used other products, but this cover is the absolute best. I put it on a new, very deep mattress and it was so easy to put on, unike other products. Also it does not cause sheets to slip and slide and it is noiseless. I highly recommend it.

    Works well
Reviewed by: Achoooooo from SF

Hesitant at first, as I am always hot when sleeping, this product really works well. I am no hotter than I was using a normal mattress pad and if it combats those mites, I am happier.

Customer Q & A
Q1: Do you ship to Montreal, CANADA?
A: Yes. We can ship 99% of our products to Canada. With this particular product, it would likely ship via USPS. The shipping is higher than normal US shipping, and the customer is responsible for local duties and taxes. With most products, including bedding, by shipping USPS, we do save the customer the brokerage fee typically $35 that UPS and FedEx charge for international orders.
Q2: Are your allergy mattress covers double sided? We flip our mattress every so often & want a cover that we don't have to take off & flip every time we flip the mattress. Thanks for your time!
A: Yes. Each side is the same, so regardless of which side of the mattress you have turned up, the mattress is completely covered and protected.
Q3: We received a crib mattress from my mother-in-law. Since they live out of state for more than half the year, the mattress smells EXTREMELY musty. We have tried airing it out outside in the fresh air, but the smell is still there and continues to come through the mattress pad and sheet. I don't want my baby breathing that in, nor do I want the room to continue to smell musty. Will one of your covers help "cover-up" the smell??? Thanks!
A: No. None of them are airtight. You do have a couple of other options though. You can try an Eco Discoveries cleaner. These products are enzyme based and won't leave any chemical residue like other cleaners. Odor X is also a good product to try to help remove the odor. You can also try steam cleaning it. Steam cleaner generally unlock trapped odors and can penetrate even hard surfaces. In this case you would want to make sure the mattress completely dries after steaming it.

Allergy Armor Cotton Mattress Covers
I have the Allergy Armor Cotton blend mattress and pillow encasings on
my mattress. The first night that I used them I could tell the
difference. I was used to waking up with congestion and fluid in my
ears. And, I always seemed so tired even though I had gotten plenty of
sleep the night before. Little did I know, I was sleeping with millions
of dust mites every night. Once I started sleeping with the Allergy
Armor Cotton blend mattress covers and pillow covers, I no longer felt
so congested in the morning. This effective Allergy Armor Cotton blend material is definitely worth the price and it lasts for years.
What I like about the Allergy Armor Cotton mattress covers
- Material is very comfortable, breathable and durable
- The more you wash it the softer it gets
- It doesn't make any noise when you sleep on it
- Doesn't retain heat at all, you can't even tell that it is on your bed
- Encases entire mattress
- Easy to care for: hot water washed and dried
- 5 year warranty
What I did not like about the Allergy Armor Cotton mattress covers
- Can be a bit of a pain to put on, but you only have to take it off and
wash it three to four times a year
In summary, I would give the
Allergy Armor Cotton blend mattress and pillow encasings 5
stars. It really does help those who are allergic to dust mites. Because
the tightly woven mattress cover encases the entire mattress you are
no longer susceptible to dust mites in your bed. It is a great feeling
to get a great nights rest and wake up feeling refreshed, not groggy.
Please measure the depth of your mattress before ordering (choose 9",
15" or depth of cover). 18" also available in some sizes - call for
availability.

9/10/12 Allergy Armor Organic Bedding works just as good as the Ultra, but I feel good knowing my face is rested on all natural organic cotton. Actually, I would recommend a cover regardless of allergies, just so I know I am not breathing pillow stuffing. More Testimonials
