As part of our Electrolux HEPA vacuum cleaner update, there are two more HEPA canister vacuums we've just added, and both have specific qualities and features that can make them ideal for your home. So what's new and how are these different?

New Electrolux JetMaxx Green HEPA Vacuum Cleaner

Let's first take a look at the Electrolux JetMaxx Green vacuum cleaner. Several years ago, Electrolux began creating a series of vacuum cleaners that placed special emphasis on one key feature - the use of recycled materials. With millions of tons of plastic headed to landfills across the world each year, Electrolux has adopted a platform to create some canister vacuum cleaners that try to combat this, and the JetMaxx is the latest iteration of this initiative. Using 55% recycled plastics, the JetMaxx earns the name "Green" with this and a couple other notable features. The packing material is made from 100% recycled paper products, and the S-bag dust bag is actually derived from cornstarch. A long life belt (for the powerhead) and washable HEPA filter round out the green features of this vac. In terms of performance, the JetMaxx has a wide, electrically driven powerhead, a separate smooth floor tool and enough suction to clean any type of floor in your home. The sealed system, HEPA New Electrolux Ergospace Canister Vacuum Cleaners filter, and self-sealing dust bags make this unit a good one for those with allergies or asthma.

As the last canister in the new line, the Electrolux Ergospace is the most economical of the group. Best suited for smooth flooring and some low pile carpeting, the Ergospace comes with two floor tools - a turbobrush for low pile carpet and a combo tool for all of your smooth flooring. Like the other Electrolux canister vacuums, the ErgoSpace does feature a sealed system, HEPA filter and self-sealing S-Bag, but it is also very lightweight and comes with an Ergoschock Flexible Bumper Cord Wrap. This is a handy way to wrap up the hose for storage in tight spaces and small closets.

With either of these canisters, as well as the UltraSilencer, you have options when it comes to the filter and dust bags. Washable filters are available for each of these, as are a range of dust bags that focus on specific problems in the home, like odors or allergens. Each of these canisters also comes with automatic cord rewind and bag change indicator features, as well as a five year warranty.

Regardless of your specific needs, there are a variety of Electrolux vacuums to choose from. Each offers a unique set of features specially suited for different types of home, flooring and filtration needs. To check out our current line of Electrolux vacuums cleaners.

Electrolux EL7063A Ultra Silencer Canister Vacuum Cleaner: AKA, the Unofficial Vacuum of Every Boise State FanOver the next few weeks, look for some new Electrolux vacuum cleaners to begin appearing on our site. With a variety of new styles and designs, and a range of prices, Electrolux has some very unique and allergy-friendly vacuums rolling out. As the first of our new models, we're going to take a look at the Electrolux EL7063A, the UltraSilencer Deep Clean vacuum cleaner.

There is a pretty wide array of features to like about the EL7063A. The look is stylish and colorful, and an LCD screen provides useful, easy to read info, while the weight is actually lighter than comparable HEPA canister vacuums. In terms of filtration, it comes standard with a sealed HEPA filter and the Electrolux standard S-Bag Classic, but both of these can be swapped for similar replacement products better suited for your specific needs. Have a pet? Try the Anti-Odor bags after you've used the included bags that come with the UltraSilencer. Want a washable filter? Pick up a pair of these and rotate them in and out, while washing, for years of service. Allergens a problem? Opt for the Anti-Allergy S-Bags.

As for cleaning, the El7063A Deep Clean is on top of its game. There are two floor tools, one ideal for smooth floors with the other, an independently driven powerhead, perfect for all types of carpet. From deep cleaning to simply sprucing up, the UltraSilencer provides tools for tidying up your floors, dusting and removing allergens, dirt and debris from some of the hardest to reach areas.

Like other UltraSilencer models, this vacuum is quieter than most others you'll find at your local store. I wouldn't say it's "Super Sneaky Quiet" like a Miele, but it falls into the next-step-down, "Sneaky Quiet" category, which is rarely used for most of your common brands. They tend to fall into the "Wake the Dead" or "Quiet as a Tornado" category.

Super Sneaky Quiet? Not Quite, But CloseConvenience is the last big step up with the Electrolux EL7063A Ultra Silencer vacuum. Automatic cord rewind, dust bag and filter change indicators are standard on most quality canister vacuums these days, but this vac goes further by offering complete control, right on the handle! This includes, turning the entire vacuum off and on, adjusting the height of the powerhead, adjusting your suction level and turning the brushroll on/off. Most canisters usually lack the ability to power the vacuum up or adjust the height, from the handle.

Whether you're looking for an effective home cleaner to fit in with home decor that's beyond ordinary or you simply need a lightweight addition for a large home, the Electrolux EL7063A HEPA vac might be just what you had in mind! Seriously, I don't know if Electrolux had this in mind, but the color scheme also makes it a great choice for any discerning Boise State Broncos fan. Electrolux VacuumsFor decades, Electrolux has been a brand associated with caring for your carpet, and as technology and needs evolve, so too do the Electrolux vacuum cleaners available to you. We've recently added two new Electrolux models, each with unique features and suited for cleaning different areas of your home.

When it comes to living in an apartment, having kids or pets buzzing around the house, there are bound to be spills. For sucking up the Cheerios that Jr. spilled or dirt that Max just tracked in on the kitchen floor, it can sometimes be a hassle to pull out the full size vacuum. This is where the Electrolux Ergorapido comes in handy.

Electrolux ErgoRapidoThe Ergorapido is a compact stick vacuum that doubles as a handheld vac. While this lightweight sidekick isn't as powerful as a full size vac, it makes up for that with convenience and versatility. With no bags to replace, no cords to rewind, and about twenty minutes of run time, the Ergorapido is ideal for quick spills and tidying up when time is at a premium. It's also ideal for bachelors who, let's face it, generally aren't prone to bouts of deep cleaning.

Electrolux Nimble VacuumThe second new model in our Electrolux offering is the Electrolux Nimble. As a full size upright vacuum, the Nimble features HEPA filtration, cyclonic suction and maneuverability that blends the Dyson Ball with the Miele Swivel Neck designs.

A brushroll control switch allows you to quickly transition from carpet to smooth flooring, and a sealed system ensures no air leakage. So instead of kicking up allergens, you actually remove them. The included 3-in-1 Versa-tool is a unique add-on unlike most other vacuum attachments available. Designed for several purposes, this one tool makes cleaning carpeted steps or crevices easier. Like the ErgoRapido, the Nimble is well-priced to fit nearly any budget.

So for quick spills, smaller living spaces or as an additional tool in your cleaning arsenal, the ErgoRapido is a great fit. And for full size and more powerful cleaning throughout the home, the Nimble is a vacuum worth checking out.
