caused by bacteria. Early symptoms include fever, headache, muscle pain, and skin rash. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever can be difficult to diagnose in its
early stages, and it can be fatal without prompt treatment.
People can be extremely allergic to tick venom as well—especially people who have other allergies. Just last night, in a repeat episode of House
(Episode 16, Season 2), a 16-year-old girl was brought into the hospital with anaphylaxis (a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction), heart failure,
