As one of the most uniquely designed portable air conditioners available, the DeLonghi PAC T110P is an 11,000 BTU
portable air conditioner with the cooling power to bring comfort to any room in your home. One of the best parts about
the T110P is that it can remove up to 50 pints of water per day while cooling or 60 pints per day in dehumidifier mode. So not only
does this air conditioner cool your home but it helps reduce excess moisture problems that can lead to the growth of
harmful mold or dust mites. As a dual hose portable air conditioner, the DeLonghi T110P works more effectively in
cooling the rooms in your home. What sets this model apart is that not only does it remove moisture, but the PAC T110P has
an internal condensate pump and direct drain hose to push extracted water out and into a nearby drain. With a very modern
design and the best electronic features available, the DeLonghi PAC T110P is one of the best portable air conditioners available
today. It is sure to bring you simply cooling comfort, efficiently and quickly.
DeLonghi PAC T110P Portable Air Conditioner
This portable air conditioner really intrigued me. When I looked at all the features and specs for the PAC T110P, I was a bit
skeptical. Essentially this unit is billed as a dual hose portable air conditioner with pretty much every decent feature available. After we
unpacked it, we tested it for several days to get a better idea of this unit's abilities. Overall, here is what we found.
What I liked about the DeLonghi PAC T110P
The design is very unique. It certainly gives you a very modern feel to it. Though
aesthetics are important to some, the real issue
at hand is whether it will do what DeLonghi says it does. In cooling mode, this unit turned our test area into a cool 70 degrees in
just over 30 minutes. In a separate session we were able to lower the RH in the room by 6% during the same time period. Either as an
air conditioner or dehumidifier, those results compare well with most other models and brands we have tested.
I give preference to dual hose units, and the DeLonghi PAC T110OP is no exception. While we can always test temperatures and give comparison
numbers, there's really no way to quantify anecdotal evidence. Running this model next to a single hose unit from a competitor is proof
without the numbers. The PAC T110P simply feel colder. We've noticed this with other models, and it will vary depending on dual hose vs. single
hose, BTU's, current conditions, etc., but there is something to be said when you can run to similar models side by side yet notice a difference
in how cool the air feels from each.
The features are not merely add-ons for this unit. With perhaps only one exception, my opinion is that the digital features on this can
be handy and convenient for a variety of people. Now not all of the functionality with this unit will be something you will need all the time or
at all, but it makes the unit more appealing to a wider audience, and that's important.
What I did not like about the DeLonghi PAC T110P
Thought not as heavy as some, the DeLonghi PAC T110P is heavy. The casters help, and being able to lock them removes at least a little worry from
someone bumping into it and possibly disconnecting any of the hoses. Though weighty, it's really fairly standard compared to other models.
Draining the water can be a pain. There hasn't been a portable air conditioner yet that has worked it's way around having to sometimes empty a condensate
tank, and this DeLonghi is no exception.
Overall, the PAC T110P provides excellent value in a really unique package. The features are easy to use and useful. The cooling ability is more than
enough to tackle most rooms, and the dehumidifier functionality is comparable to that of a traditional dehumidifier. Kudos to this unit for the
3M air filter, and the price, though a little high for the BTU's is reasonable.
