The Ebac CD100E has some additional features and is a different color than the CD100.  It comes with a wall bracket so that it can be mounted and ducted to suit a variety of applications. The Ebac CD100 dehumidifiers are versatile and trusty workhorses built to deliver great performance in harsh environments.  The automatic defrost means that it can function effectively even in cold temperatures down to 33 degrees.  Workers and owners of warehouses, store rooms, communications switching stations, locker rooms, basements, pumping stations, offshore oil rigs, and marine vessels have found this rugged dehumidifier to be equal to any task.  The CD100 & CD100E are different from other units, because they come with a "floating" compressor that absorbs shocks and vibrations. This allows the unit to operate in very harsh conditions.

What I like about the Ebac CD100 & CD100E:

I really like the power of these machines. They generate 700 cubic feet per minute in airflow.  That is one of the most powerful in the Ebac line of dehumidifiers. The carrying handle/skid of the CD100 makes this unit easier to move, particularly while transporting it. The sheer water removal capability of both models is another key feature to these dehumidifiers. With such a robust motor and CFM, these units can remove up to 20 gallons of water per day (under extreme conditions).

The CD100 has a sister model called the CD100E. The CD100E comes with the additional features of an Hours Run Meter, a complete wall mounting bracket, and an alarm humidistat. This unit is ideal for remote monitoring of the dehumidifier. However, the "E" version is still the same weight, so if you are going to mount this on a wall, you had better have a very sturdy wall and very competent installation process. The "E" version is a different color and does not come with a carrying handle.

What I do not like about the CD100 and CD100E:

One thing that I do not like about this model is how heavy it is. It is heavy for durability and longevity, but that makes the unit hard to handle for one person. Another way that the CD100 is different is in the noise level produced. This is a powerful and it operates at a higher decibel level than some of the similar shaped models.
