What I like about the Friedrich SS10M10 Kuhl
Air conditioners are a necessity and not something that I really wanted in a window in my apartment. I wanted to
a system that really makes the room that the air conditioner is in into a summer gathering place in the home.
This unit will fit into any home decor.
Probably, the best part of the Friedrich Kuhl is the control panel or "brain" in the control system. The control system
is very advanced. The product is one of the best on the market with superior performance. It moves air very efficiently.
Acoustically, it is quiet and it consumes less electricity than most other units. The design and the features are not
like anything else in the window air conditioning industry.
Another feature that I like is that the Kuhl gives you the ability to raise and lower temperatures systematically throughout the day. If no one is home
for several hours during the work week, you can set the unit to kick on and lower the temperature maybe an hour before
you are supposed to return home. This is great for saving energy and money.
The Friedrich Kuhl is also Energy Star qualified with some other "green" features. The Kuhl's packaging is recyclable.
The unit uses the new environmentally friendly refrigerant. It meets the strict European standards for using hazardous
materials in its components.
What I do not like about the Friedrich SS10M10 Kuhl
The only part of this unit that I would complain about is the weight of the unit. Weighing in at a robust 106 pounds,
this seems heavy for a window unit.
