The Respro Aero Mask is designed for the allergy
sufferers and individuals sensitive to chemicals and
other air particles. Developed with an understanding of
the debilitating effects of chemical and particle
sensitivity and how submicron particles can be particularly harmful
to your health, the Aero mask is designed to protect you from these dangerous
chemicals and particulates that circulate throughout the
indoor and outdoor air you breathe.
With both chemical and
particle filters available, the Respro Aero mask protects you
from irritants like cleaning agents, perfumes, soap, paint, varnish,
air fresheners and other common chemicals, as well as particulates
like pollen, plant spores, pet dander, mold, cigarette smoke, house
dust and dust mite feces. Each filter is specifically suited for different allergens and irritants.
Aero masks are made from inert hypoallergenic materials and are highly
unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. The Techno valves are made
from polypropylene, with medical grade silicon rubber diaphragms.
This polyester face mask is ultra-light weight and air permeable, allowing you
to breathe easily. The sporty design is comfortable, washable, and
reusable. It is available in three sizes:
Large Aero Mask, distance from top to bottom:
4.75". Fits people under 6' in height - most men.
Medium Aero Mask, distance from top to bottom: 4.5". Fits
people under 5' 6" in height - most women.
Small Aero Mask, distance from top to bottom:

We offer two types of replacement filters:
Particle filter - for particulate matter down to less than one micron
Chemical and Particle filter - for particulate matter and chemicals
Both replacement filters come in size Medium or Large. The Medium size filters
also fit the Repro Aero Small mask. Filters come in a 2-pack.
These polypropylene filter afford HEPA-type protection against
tiny pollutants and conform to strict European standards.

Good, comfortable mask to keep all those pesky allergens out. One thing that needs attention by the company...make the strap on the medium longer. Too short for comfort and I needed to put my own expander on it. Otherwise, great mask.
Great mask straps too short

The Respro Aero Mask filters very well with good airflow. However, for the money
the velcro fastening straps are ridiculously short. Had to lengthen mine to get it off my neck and over the ears or head for it to be totally useful. This was the large size. Very well made nose bridge is comfortable, and it has a good sealing fit. 5 stars if they would make the straps longer and add another one for over the head.

I ordered medium rather than large as I have a somewhat small face. Good size for an older child or small adult who might be swallowed by the large. Nice snug fit, and with the standard filter I've safely navigated cigarette smoke, cleaning product odors, diesel fumes and tree and grass pollen. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is there is still room for improvement on the strap design - should be longer for medium mask, but the extender works reasonably well.

Q1: Can you tell me approximately how often a filter for the Aero mask needs to be replaced?
A: Respro masks were originally designed to protect commuters on their walk or ride to work. They designed them based on a 30 minute outdoor commute cycling or walking each way, in outdoor environments where the World Health Organization recommends some type of respiratory filtration. Based on this, Respro recommends the filters be replaced after 69 hours of use.
Additionally, we recommend that should you notice greater difficulty breathing through the mask or find a noticeable increase in odors coming through the filter particularly with the Aero chemical/particle filters that you may want to replace them a little sooner.
Q2: Thank you for the quick response to my previous question. If I order an Areo mask, does a filter come with it or do I need to buy one seperately when I order?
A: One Particle filter comes standard with each Respro Aero mask. The Chemical/Particle filter would be an additional purchase.
Q3: I am an asthma patient and my allergies are diesel fumes, dust, and perfumes. Please tell me which mask suitabile for me.
A: The Respro Aero Allergy mask is a good start. I would suggest you use the chemical/particle filter. Your next best bet would be a Honeycomb carbon mask by I Can Breathe. Both feature some level of carbon in the filters to help filter out those fragrances and fumes. The Respro will give you a better seal around the face. Just notes that both will still allow some odor through if the scent is very strong.
