The Respro Techno mask is a active styled face mask featuring both a Dynamic ACC (Activated Charcoal Cloth)
filter and HEPA filtration. These filters work
together to remove the most pollutants from the air you breathe. This filter combination also provides increased ability to cover a broader
spectrum of dusts and odors than the Aero Mask or many other particle filter masks on the market.
Two Techno valves are designed specifically to improve airflow
when you exhale, for low breathing resistance. This also helps to reduce heat around your face and allows the moisture you exhale
to escape. Other features
include Velcro fastening for a perfect fit, and neoprene construction
for easy-care durability. The Techno mask is a premium HEPA style mask with first class filtration and great
features. Whether walking, jogging, bicycling, or motorcycling, the Techno offers superior particle filtration in a comfortable and

comes in two sizes: Medium and Large.
The Techno mask filters out hydrocarbons including benzene and pyrene,
nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxides, lead oxide, and black smoke.
Additionally, it filters out particulates in the air including pollen dust,
irritant dusts, and clay dust. This mask is suitable for use in urban, rural, and work
environments. If used in an outdoor environment one hour per day, the filter has been mathematically modeled and
calculated to last approximately 30 days.

I run every morning on the main roads of a busy city. Nothing like New york city but there are cars and trucks passing by all the time. This mask does the trick and keeps me from breathing in all those cars and diesel fumes that bothered me before, with this mask I cannot smell them and can keep going without holding my hand to my nose when a big truck passes by. I would recommend this mask to anyone for the purpose of avoiding pollution while cycling, walking or running. I cannot comment on the allergy side of it as I do not have allergies.

My husband was able to use this mask and breath without discomfort, unlike the cheaper versions of the same mask. Well worth the money.
It does have a tendency to slide down on the nose a little, but it still works well, even then and the nose piece can be adjusted to help prevent that. I think it is in part to the width of the bridge of one's nose.

Q1: I need a recommendation for a mask that can help me in the garbage disposal field. I deal with wood dust, dirt, sprays, paints, gas and I come across just about everything and anything people throwaway. I am worried about the smaller things that are hard see but can be inhaled.
A: A Respro Techno will certainly be helpful and this mask will also cut down on the odor. If your want something with better filtration of those small particles, you can opt for either of the two 3M Respirators we offer that will handle oil based particles - 3M 8293 or the 3M half mask. Both offer full HEPA filtration and will work with oil baed aerosols and particles. If you're looking for something that is more focuses on the chemical vapor side of things, use the Half Mask 6291 with the Organic Vapor Cartridges. You'll give up a little by way of particle filtration but gain a great deal on filtering paint fumes, gas fumes and orther organic vapors. The 6291 comes standard with the HEPA filters Organic Vapor cartridges are additional.

Q3: Hello, I have asthma which is mainly triggered by hair sprays perfume and cologne. What I mainly need a respirator mask for is in the morning when my wife is first spraying her hair spray and using hair gel. After the initial spray fumes are gone I'm ok. So which masks would best suit me for that? Thank You!!
A: Your least expensive, effective solution will be the Honeycomb Carbon. The activated carbon in that mask will adsorb a lot of the odors and chemicals found in hairspray and perfumes. Plus, it has replaceable filters, so once every six months or sooner if needed simply replace them.
You can also go with any of the Techno, Aero or Sportsta masks. Each of those will do the same thing. The only note with those is if you purchase the Aero, make sure you use purchase the particle/chemical filters since the straight particle filters do not have the carbon needed to adsorb odors and chemical vapors.

a combination of HEPA and charcoal filtration, all in a streamlined, adjustable mask. It does not have a slim design of the Aero Mask, but
the Velcro strap fits well and you receive world class air filtration.
