Flexible crevice tool and swivel brush

I ended up purchasing the Swing our home, and must not have paid much attention because these showed up with the vacuum. To be honest, I don't use the vacuum much except for cleaning our minivan and my truck, but I do really like these two tools. the crevice tool has a softer, rubber center that gives it the flex, and it's long enough to fit in the narrow gaps between the seats and the center console as well as under the seats and around the posts where it attaches to the body of the truck. The swivel brush is nice just b/c its larger, so I can clean the leather seats fasters. I like it for the vents too. They can get pretty dusty over time, but the bristles are long enough to reach through and clean them all. I do use the included attaches with the vacuum itself, so overall, these five take do a great job on the interior of both vehicles.
Stellar floor brush!

But then again you can't really say anything negative about a floor brush. Achoo's price was the best I could find anywhere which is why it was disappointing when they shipped to me using UPS. Most online retailers know that UPS charges Canadians a $30 brokerage fee so they use the US Postal Service instead which charges zero fees. Hopefully Achoo will get up to speed with the majority of online retailers and stop using UPS to ship to Canada.

This powerhead works much better on my mid height carpet than the one that came with mine. Its a must-have in my opinion
Customer Q & A
Q1: Is the Miele extended flexible crevice tool suitable for cleaning under fridges, stoves etc?
A: Yes. It's thin enough to fit very low clearances, like the ones you described, where other tools will not or simply do not have the length of reach.
Q2: How can I stop static cling on my miele floor attachment? Dog hair gloms onto the top of the floor brush during use, and is difficult to remove.
A: You're going to see this be more of an issue during the winter months. Low humidity, ramps up the amount of static electricity that can build up in your carpet as you walk across it or vacuum it. I would check your relative humidity level and try to get it in the 40-50% range. That will help as it will reduce the amount of static electricity that will build up. Second thing is partway through vacuuming, disconnect the wand from the floor tool and with just the end of the wand and the vacuum running, suck the stuck on hair off the floor tool. I've had a very similar issue with my Miele and use on carpet during the winter. Usually twice while cleaning, once in the middle and again at the end, I clean off the floor tool with just the wand. You can also attach the dusting brush and do the same thing without worry of scratching the tool. I use the dusting brush to actually go over the body of the canister as well, since hair will often stick to it too. But using the suction of the wand will clean it up. Hope that helps!
Q3: the hose on my new Miele S2001 does not want to uncoil all the way. Is this normal or will it loosen up with use?
A: Since it does spend some time in the box from after the manufacturing process through shipping overseas from Germany then being shipped again from Miele to us, the hose will generally have some bend/curve to it. That's normal, but the natural curve or lay of the hose will change in time depending on how you store it. Hope that helps!
The Miele AutoEco is heavy but pushes easily and is extremely effective. A recent appliance repair person at our house to repair a sub zero refrigerator commented that it is the best vacuum on the market. Love it! More Testimonials
