infants, the Nature's Star features natural cotton padding with an organic cotton coverlet that when combined with cotton interior
creates a more natural sleeping environment for your baby or toddler. A Bonell steel innerspring system provides just the right amount of
support and comfort for a peaceful night's sleep.
Like other crib mattresses in the Moonlight Slumber line, the Nature's Star is free of vinyl, phthalates, and lead as well as toxic adhesives or
toxic fire retardants. Each of these mattresses is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. So for an all
cotton crib mattress, the Nature's Star is one of the best available. Mattress is only available in crib size.

Moonlight Slumber Nature's Star Crib Mattress
As the newest addition to the line of Moonlight Slumber crib mattresses, the Nature's Star is a natural cotton mattress with an innerspring support system
and an organic cotton cover. While many of the features are similar to other Moonlight Slumber mattresses, there are distinct differences that set this baby mattress
apart.
What I like about the Nature's Star Crib Mattress
Price - The Nature's Star is one of the most economical Moonlight Slumber mattresses available. And being made from quality materials, with a Lifetime warranty,
this crib mattress can easily last a family through one, two, or even three children.
Materials - Like other Moonlight Slumber mattresses, this crib mattress if free of the toxic chemicals and off-gassing materials that are so common in modern
mattress construction (vinyl, PVC, polyethylene, lead, formaldehyde, etc.). The natural cotton is free of chemical treatments and flame retardants, and the adhesive used is water-based. To meet
federal flame resistant guidelines, the Nature's Star uses an inner layer of woven silica thread that resists flame and heat without the use of chemicals.
Support - Not only does the steel innerspring system provide ample support for your infant or toddler, the Nature's Star employs the inner rail system that helps
keep the baby in the center of the mattress.
Squared Corners & Construction - Unlike most other mattresses, the squared corners of Moonlight Slumber mattress make for a safer and more even
sleeping environment. The welded seams keep out dust mites and other allergens while making the mattress waterproof. While the construction keeps out
allergens without adding toxic substances, the cotton and other materials used are naturally hypoallergenic.
Organic Cotton Coverlet - The coverlet is zippered and easily removed. It's soft,
absorbent and machine washable. While the mattress itself is waterproof, the
coverlet helps to contain messes and accidents and is easily cleaned.
What I don't like about the Nature's Star Crib Mattress
Unlike most of the other Moonlight Slumber mattresses, the Nature's Star lacks two firmness levels (one on each side). While this feature is an
excellent benefit, one level of firmness is standard in most other crib mattresses. The only other possible drawback would be that it's only
available in a crib size.
In all, the Nature's Star is a quality mattress that retains most of the features that has made Moonlight Slumber so popular with moms-to-be. The cotton
offers a more natural sleeping environment, and the organic cotton coverlet ensures only the best materials come in contact with your baby's delicate skin. Durable
and well made, the Moonlight Slumber Nature's Star is a first-rate crib mattress sure to provide your child with years of safe, comfortable sleep.
