Mulberry West comforters are a comfortable and luxurious, silk-filled comforter in a natural cotton shell. Lightweight but well constructed,
these silk comforters feel the way bedding was meant to - comfortable, warm, and soft. You'll not only sleep better because of how they feel but also
in knowing that silk is naturally repellant to bed bugs and dust mites. There are three sizes available, and each comes in a handy carry case.
Each silk comforter is crafted of 100% certified Grade A Mulberry Silk. With 150 grams of silk filling, each is warm without being heavy and
features an unbleached, 300 thread count cotton shell. The silk filling won't shift, and each Mulberry West comforter is tested and
certified to contain no lead, bleach, ammonia, PVC, or formaldehyde. Mulberry West even sews in a small zipper so you can see, and feel, for yourself
the difference certified silk filling makes!

Q1: If I'm allergic to Mulberry pollen, will I be able to use this product?
A: Probably. Despite the sound of the name, there is no Mulberry in this product. The reason the term "Mulberry" is used is because the worms that produce the silk are fed Mulberry leaves.
Silk varies largely by what worm produces it and what diet the worm has during production. So while they ingest the leaves, it is unlikely the protein allergen responsible for your reactions actually passes through their system without being metabolized or at least altered in some way through digestion.
Q2: Are the Mulberry West blankets and comforters washable?
A: It is not recommended that you machine wash Mulberry West blankets and comforters. Silk is a delicate fabric, and machine washing can be damaging.
You can spot clean the cotton exterior, but to freshen them up, it's recommended that you simply place them outside in sunlight for several hours.

Mulberry West Comforters
Finally another alternative for people allergic to goose down and feathers! These silk filled comforters are excellent for use throughout the
year. They are not heavy like winters blankets yet still provide adequate warmth, and with a very basic design and style, they will fit nicely
into nearly any bedroom. After sleeping with the Mulberry West comforter for one night I was hooked!
What I like about Mulberry West Comforters
- Light to medium weight, but still thick--great for year round use
- Incredible, luxurious soft feel
- Hypoallergenic
- The 100% Grade A silk filling is odorless and won't bunch or ball up inside the cotton shell
- The Certified Mulberry silk is mold & mildew resistant while naturally repelling allergens like dust mites
- These comforters make a wonderfully luxurious gift
What I do not like about Mulberry West Comforters
- The color selection is limited to white
- There really is no decorative pattern, so you may want a cover
In summary, I would rate this comforter 4 out of 5 stars. I would recommend it to anyone who
loves the softness of silk and wants a hypoallergenic alternative to goose down.
