Are you sensitive to certain
pieces of jewelry? Fifteen percent of American women are
sensitive to nickel, and the allergy is on the rise among both
men and women worldwide. Nickel Solution is a revolutionary,
two-part system that allows you to easily test for the presence
of nickel and protect yourself from nickel exposure.
Apply two drops of Nickel Alert to
suspect jewelry, and it will change color in the presence of
even trace amounts of nickel. If you find it does have nickel, apply a thin layer of Nickel
Guard's clear coating to nickel jewelry, and it will form an
invisible micro-bond that prevents the nickel from touching your
skin.
Nickel Solution is quick, easy,
and safe to use. It will not harm you or your valuable jewelry.
Nickel Guard does not contain toluene, formaldehyde, or dibutyl
phthalate which could cause secondary contact dermatitis.
Nickel may be found in earrings,
watches, necklaces, rings, costume jewelry, buttons, buckles,
eyeglasses, silverware, coins, zippers, and even "nickel-free"
jewelry.

Customer Q & A
Q1: This sounds like the solution but what is in this clear coating?
A: The manufacturer won't release a specific formula of what is in the clear coating. But often people mistake it as something similar to a clear nail polish. This is incorrect. Many common nail polishes have chemicals like Toluene, Formaldehyde and Dibutyl Phthalate in them. Nickel Guard was designed specifically for people with allergies, so it has none of these chemicals.
If there is a chemical or compound in particular you are looking to avoid, we can check with them to see if it is in the formula or not before you purchase.
Q2: How is this different than applying clear nail polish to jewelry?
A: Nail polish often contains toxic or even carcinogenic chemicals like formaldehyde, toulene, xylene, and dibutyl phthalate. The Nickel Solution contains none of these substances. Additionally, the first bottle included in this kit actually gives you the ability to test items for nickel. And the second bottle gives you the ability to coat certain things to form a protective barrier, keeping you reaction free.
