Lightweight & Warm, Our BedCare™ Polartec® Fleece Blankets are made from 100% super soft synthetic microfleece, also known as polyester. This allows them to provide exceptional warmth without the bulkiness and makes Polartec® Blankets perfect for year-round use.
BedCare™ Polartec® Blankets are Highly Water-Resistant because they are made from polyester fabric which is naturally hydrophobic (meaning it absorbs less than 1% water). This superior moisture resistance is essential for those who are prone to sweating and hot flashes during sleep.
Polartec® fabric can also be Eco-Conscious and is often made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), also known as plastic bottles or recycled fleece. This enables textiles made with recycled Polartec® fleece to help remove up to 88 plastic bottles from our waste systems and reduce carbon emissions by up to 52%.
Ideal for Allergy Sufferers, BedCare™ Polartec® Blankets are less likely to harbor mold, mildew, and other allergens that thrive in damp environments thanks to their extreme moisture resistance and natural resistance to bacterial growth. In addition, they are also machine washable enabling you to easily remove built-up debris, dust, and allergens. Lastly, they withstand pilling, helping them stay supremely soft for those with skin-sensitive conditions.
