I purchased this vacuum because I have been through several vacuums that are made for pets but do not last. This vacuum was perfect because my first floor is all hard wood and the upstairs is wall to wall carpet. The power head is great because I can dial in the height. This vacuum is expensive, though I have spent a lot on vacuums that do not last.
