one of the most powerful Santa Fe residential dehumidifiers available, the Santa Fe Force can dry out even the largest basement or crawlspace. With a top end
water removal capacity of 120 pints per day, this dehumidifier is a "force" to be reckoned with. Moving air at a rate of 365 CFM, this Santa Fe dehumidifier
can effectively dry spaces as large as 2900 sq. ft. Made here in the U.S., this steel constructed dehumidifier is built to last, and the MERV 8 air filter helps
to not only improve air quality but keep harmful dirt and debris out of the blower motor and coils. Few dehumidifiers compare when you factor in how much effective,
efficient and durable the Santa Fe Force is. If mold, mildew or pests in your crawlspace is your problem, then the Santa Fe Force is the solution!

Santa Fe Force Basement Package
Santa Fe Force dehumidifier is very easy to use, but in some situations, draining away the removed moisture can be a problem. If gravity doesn't allow you to simply run the drain line or there is no
floor drain nearby (for a basement install), your next best option is to go with the Force Basement Kit! This package comes with all the components you need to effectively and quickly drain
condensate in any situation. A powerful condensate pump attaches directly to the Force dehumidifier and can push water up to 20 feet, out of the drying space. Able to move condensate
both horizontally and vertically, this basement package not only includes the Force dehumidifier, pump, mounting hardware, and drain hose but also the AcuRite humidity gauge/thermometer. A large LCD displays the indoor/outdoor temperatures and humidity levels as well as
daily high/low temps, time, date, and current moon phase. The wireless sensor can be placed just about anywhere, and the display can be used with the supplied stand or wall mounted. Each
component in the basement package provides you the needed flexibility for tricky installs and less than ideal situations.
Santa Fe Force Dehumidifier
With the Santa Fe line of crawlspace dehumidifiers, you have many choices to choose from. The easiest way to separate each of the models is by the
space they can effectively dry and by how much moisture per day each model can remove. Using these criteria, the Santa Fe Force is near the top of
the line. Let's take a closer look at this model and how it might be the right fit for you.
What I like about the Santa Fe Force
Water Removal & Coverage - The two strongest characteristics of the Force are its water removal capacity
and coverage area. When it comes to removing moisture from the air, only the Max Dry Dual XT surpasses the Santa Fe Force. Rated for 120 pints per day, the
Force has a powerful 365 CFM fan/blower to cycle air through quickly and dry it effectively. Again, when it comes to coverage area, the Force is second only to the
Max Dry. Because of the well-built internal components and the strength of the blower, the Force can dry spaces up to 2900 sq. ft., more than enough for
the basements or crawlspaces in the vast majority of homes.
Energy Efficiency - In terms of energy efficiency, the Santa Fe Force is Energy Star compliant and exceeds minimum
requirements. Compared to other Santa Fe dehumidifier models, the Force comes in near the middle of the pack - more efficient than the Compact2 or Advance2 but
not quite as efficient as the Impact or Max Dry. Still, the energy costs could be substantial, particularly when compared to different brands of crawlspace
Other Relevant Features - Like other Santa Fe crawlspace dehumidifier models, the Force is built tough for years of consistent
use. Steel construction and a MERV 8 air filter keep the vital inner components of this dehumidifier safe from damage and free of debris. If you happen to suffer
a power loss with the Force, it will automatically resume operation when power is restored, and sensors allow this dehumidifier to detect when the coils are in danger of icing
and all the warmed air from the motor to defrost the unit. The simple controls are easy enough for anyone to use. Once your machine is situated and level, simply plug it in
and set your desired humidity level. It really is as easy as that. The warranty and adaptable nature of the Santa Fe Force dehumidifier is like the others in the line. Peace
of mind and flexible install options come standard!
What I like about the Santa Fe Force
In many ways, this models seems like a "muddled" middle. In reality, it's very much like the other models in the line, except it doesn't have any specific, unique
features. The Rx has a condensate pump, is quiet and built for living space use. The Compact is lightweight and sized perfectly for use in tight spaces between floor
joists. The Impact is the most energy efficient residential crawlspace dehumidifier on the market. The Max Dry is the largest and most powerful. The Advance has excellent
air filtration and is the first of the model in the line suited for use in a basement (I personally consider the Compact for best use in crawlspaces due to size, though
the fact is it can be used just as well in a basement). So that leaves the Santa Fe Force - really good, but not the best. Granted, for many people the Max Dry is going
to be overkill, so the lower price point and comparable power and water removal capacity of the Force will be as much as most home owners will ever need.
Overall, the Santa Fe Force is a well rounded, crawlspace/basement dehumidifier. The powerful components of the Force make it second in water removal capacity and
coverage only to the top of the line Max Dry. Like other Santa Fe models, the price might be higher than comparable models, but it makes up for it with performance, cost
savings from more energy efficient operation, and longevity. For even most large homes, the Force will be a great crawlspace solution to excess moisture, mold, mildew
