I wanted to find a great vacuum for my allergies and easy to use/store. At first the it seemed like a lot of money but after researching Miele and Dyson, Sebo is so much better. I still find it a charm to use this everytime.

What I liked about the SEBO K3
The best feature
of this vacuum is probably the ergonomic handle. The K3 has an upgrade over the K2 canister vacuum in the handle. The K3 handle is more
versatile because it has an additional swivel built in to the handle for easier operation. You also can control the suction from the handle.
Most canister vacuums have a retractable cord and the K3 is no different.
The K3 is a better choice than the K2 if you have carpets in
your home. The wand is electric to attach to a power
head. You have the choice of two power heads: the
ET-H or the ET-C. The ET-H comes a swivel neck to help steer around obstacles and it has variable
height adjustment. The ET-C has a wider L-shaped head gives the vacuum a wider cleaning path.
Another great feature of this vacuum is the air filtration process. My home is close
to a well-traveled road and that usually means a ton of dust. We vacuum several times per week. The
dust bag
collects most of the debris and then the air goes through two
different filters. It helps with indoor air quality by keeping
the dust from going back into the air
in our home. The filtration results in 99.9% effectiveness down to .3 microns
sized particles which makes the SEBO K3 ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers.
What I did not like about the SEBO K3
I find the two power head concept a little confusing, because they
seem to do exactly the same thing. I would have to use them more than just
during our showroom test to find out which one is
better.
In summary, if you have carpeting and still want the flexibility and low profile of a
canister vacuum, I would recommend going with the SEBO K3.
I like the SEBO K3 canister vacuum much more than the K2, but
there is a slight price difference. The K3 is a more powerful vacuum, has a better handle, and works better on carpeting.
9/2/12 The Dyson DC24 is the most amazing vacuum I have ever tried! It is so light-weight and easy to use but has three times the strength of any vacuum I have ever handled. I love it!
