  A Real Timesaver

This device, which connects to the end of a standard vacuum hose, is a real timesaver and avoids the messy job of removing the accumlated dust from ceiling fan blades.
I used to dread this job so much that I put it off until I could no longer stand to look at my ceiling fans, and putting it off just made it worse when I finally had to break down and do it.
I won't say this device makes cleaning your ceiling fan a joy, but it sure does make the job a lot easier and very little of the accumulated dust is spread around in the air as is the case with regular methods of dusting.
The one small downside is that it's sometimes difficult to get the fan blade between the top and bottom 'ears' of the device. I sort of gave up and just spread the ears with my hand when I first put it on the blades.

A bit hard to use

Ceiling Fan Vacuum Attachment
My apartment has ceiling fans in the living room and the bedrooms. I
have always noticed that a large amount of dust gathers on the fan
blades. Now I have discovered the Ceiling Fan Vac Attachment and I
use it every time I vacuum my apartment to remove the dust from the
fan blades. Seeing the attachment with my vacuum makes it easier to
remember to clean the fan blades, so I do it more frequently now.
The attachment fits great on my vacuum and its hinge design allows
it to gently close around the blades and suction in all the dust.
This attachment prevents me from having to stand on a chair or step
ladder to clean the fan blades with a cloth and it is a lot less
messy since the dust is instantly suctioned into my vacuum.
