As the introductory model of the Complete C3 line, the Miele Complete C3 Calima canister vacuum cleaner offers powerful suction, an 11-stage filtration, and a fully sealed system to clean throughout homes with mostly smooth floors or low pile carpet. By incorporating a few noticeable upgrades, like a push button instead of rotary dial controls, the Complete C3 Calima is a better value, at a lower price, than the HEPA vacuum cleaner it directly replaces, the Miele Pisces. Two-floor tools, the AirClean system, quiet operation, and an array of premium features make the Calima an ideal, smooth-floor canister vacuum for anyone with allergies or asthma.

	STB 305-3 Turbobrush Using powerful suction created by the Miele Complete C3 Calima, the STB 305-3 turbobrush is the perfect tool for low pile carpet and rugs. The air-driven brushroll is just powerful enough to extract dirt and pet hair from low carpet and features an 11" wide brush roll, floating head design and 360° swivel neck to provide excellent maneuverability.

	SBB300-3 Parquet Floor Tool Perfect for use on all types of smooth flooring, including tile, linoleum, hardwoods, laminate, and PVC, this floor tool uses a mixture of polyamide and natural hair bristles to ensure a gentle cushion while cleaning. The bristles dislodge and loosen and allow the powerful Miele suction to clean quietly and effectively. It has a 90° rotation and is exceptionally agile at cleaning around obstacles such as table legs and in tight places.

	Miele Hose Unlike the hoses of other vacuum cleaners that can kink, crimp and dramatically reduce airflow, the SES hose of the Miele Calima is virtually indestructible. Versions vary depending on canister style used, but Miele hoses are crush-proof and regardless of the abuse, will always retain their original shape.

The filter exceeds HEPA standards and has been independently tested, trapping 99.95% of all particles as small as 0.1 microns. Replace after 50 hours of use (approximately once per year) or simply push the green button on the filter when you install it new, and once the indicator strip is red, replace it!

History of Miele:

Did you know that the roughly 120-year-old company we know as Miele began its life in Germany in June of 1899 with two men at the forefront, Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann? Their original aim was to establish a factory for making cream separators. That's right, the home appliance powerhouse we know today was once in the dairy industry. In 1903 they got their start in the home appliance industry with their first washing machine. And by 1923, they were on washing machine model number 50. Within the next year, the expanded factory in Bielefeld is finally up and running. In 1925 Miele manufactured the first gas and coal-powered washing machines designed for indoor use. Then finally, in 1931, Miele introduced its first vacuum cleaner in the "shape of a torpedo" named the Model L, a design similar to those of today.

By 1935, their vacuum sales have skyrocketed, and advanced models with simplified operation and attractive prices resulted in the substantially quick growth of sales for the company. However, in 1940, due to the war, the production of household appliances was significantly reduced. As an example, only 22,000 washing machines (about 10,000 were Miele) were allowed to be manufactured during these hard times. Things pick back up for Miele in 1943 when the German food industry urgently need stoves and feed cookers. From 1955 till now, the company's primary focus has been manufacturing household appliances for the kitchen, laundry, and floor care, as well as commercial equipment in places like medical facilities and hotels. Miele's goal has always been to be the world's most trusted and desirable premium brand. Miele's company mission statement has never changed since 1899. "Immer Besser," meaning "forever better," has been the hallmark of a historically beloved and world-renowned company.
