Whirlpool Whispure AP250 Air Purifier

Very quiet, I placed the air purifier in my daughters room while she was away on vacation. She was able to tell that the air was cleaner in her room before she found the unit which I had concealed behind a shelf.

Whirlpool Whispure AP250 Air Purifier:
The Whispure AP 250 is great for someone who is trying to remove
dust and pollen from a small room. It contains a HEPA filter and a
charcoal pre-filter which will remove some everyday odors. I
purchased this product to put in my bedroom to cut down on the
pollen problem everyone suffers here in Atlanta, and it has been a
life saver. Before I got the Whispure AP250 I would wake up with
watery itchy eyes, and a stuffy nose. Since I have the AP250 all of
my symptoms are gone.
What I like about the Whirlpool Whispure AP250 Air Purifier:
- Easy to use, just plug it in and turn it on
- 3 fan speeds to control the noise level
- Quiet
- Filter change indicator light
- Comes in an inconspicuous color, whispy putty (off white)
- Only weights 17 lbs so it is easy to move around
- Inexpensive ($189.00)
- Comes with a one year warranty
What I didn't like about the Whirlpool Whispure AP250 Air
Purifier:
- Frequent filter changes: pre-filter, once every 3 months
($24.99 for a package of 4 pre-filters).
- HEPA filter changed once a year ($69.99)
- Doesn’t remove some strong odors
In summary, I would recommend this product to someone who is
looking for an inexpensive way to remove the dust and pollen
from a small area. The Whispure AP250 only covers up to 250
square feet and does not do a very good job of removing strong
odors. The frequent filter changes can be annoying, but the
Whispure AP250 does have a filter change indicator light to
remind you to do so. The yearly cost for filter replacements is
$94.98. I would give this product 3 stars out of 5.
