As Health.com reports, if you&#39;ve been diagnosed with allergies and you experience any of the following, you should contact your doctor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pain in the sinus area and other symptoms of sinus infection (fever, or a creamy, yellow, or green discharge from the nose). <\/li>\n<li>A worsening of allergy symptoms with no known cause.<\/li>\n<li>Taking prescription or over-the-counter allergy medication without it helping your symptoms.<\/li>\n<li>Your allergy medciation causing bothersome side effects, like drowsiness or decreased coordination.<\/li>\n<li>A fever or ear pain.<\/li>\n<li>A cough or cold that lasts longer than one to two weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Severe itching of the eyes or nose.<\/li>\n<li>Your allergy disturbs your quality of life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Seeing an allergist can help you determine which allergens are responsible for your symptoms. This helps pinpoint how to reduce your contact with these allergens through environmental control measures.
