How do I change the filters in the Honeywell air purifiers?

To change the Pre-filter for the Honeywell QuietCare air purifier, simply disconnect the unit from the power supply to ensure safety. Next, unscrew locking mechanism by turning it counter-clockwise. Remove End-cap from unit and remove filter assembly. Undo fasteners and remove used Pre-filter. Install new Pre-filter by securing it around the HEPA filter with fasteners provided. Replace the End-cap, and insert and tighten locking mechanism by turning it clockwise. Finally, discard the filter and plug the unit back again to continue receiving clean, fresh air.

Can any of the filters in Honeywell air purifiers be cleaned and reused?

The HEPA filter is designed to be vacuumed twice a year and reused. The pre-filter, however, cannot be washed and reused. Once the Honeywell Intelli-Check Monitoring System displays a dirty pre-filter warning, the Pre-filter must be replaced.
