Last week we rolled out several of the new Miele vacuum cleaner annual maintenance kits. This week, we’ve finished all kits and have them available on the site. In addition to C3 (premium canister) and U1 (upright) vacuum kits, there are Miele C2 and C1 annual kits available.
The Miele C1 Classic line is the introductory line of Miele canister vacuum cleaners. What makes them unique is that though they lack some of the features of the premium C3 models, they retain all of the core features that set Miele apart from other brands, and like C3 models they use the larger G/N dust bag.
There are two kits available for the C1 (S2000 series) canisters – HEPA and Pet. The C1 Annual HEPA Kit includes two boxes of G/N dust bags as well as one Miele AirClean HEPA filter. Though these models lack the sealed system, this kit offers all the pieces that make Miele filtration the best available. The C1 Annual Pet Kit is geared towards a home with pets and the challenges of pet odors and hair. With three boxes of G/N dust bags, these kits swap the HEPA filter for the Active AirClean filter. This filter uses activated carbon/charcoal to adsorb odors while the AirClean portion of the filter provides filtration of particles, like allergens and ultra fine dust.
For Miele C2 (S4000 and S6000 models as well) vacuums, these same two HEPA or Pet kits are available. For these kits though, the bags are FJM dust bags. Though the capacity of the FJM is lower than the G/N bag, the self-sealing, puncture resistant, multi-ply construction is the same. And, in every box of bags, there is a replacement pre-motor filter.
The Miele C2 and C1 annual kits provide the convenience of a full year’s worth of maintenance in one set. There’s no worry about running out of bags or not having the filter you need because these kits keep you in stock for a full year.
