The Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic Humidifier uses high-frequency vibrations to emit a micro-fine mist of water into the room,
where the mist immediately
evaporates. The Air-O-Swiss can be used as a cool mist humidifier during the summer, or as a warm mist humidifier
(pre-heated to 104F) for dry winter air. This popular humidifier is available in digital (the Air-O-Swiss 7135) or
manual (Air-O-Swiss 7133) models.
If you have allergies, then you should pay close attention to the humidity in your home. When the
humidity is too high, allergens like mold and dust mites will multiply, but when the humidity is too low,
the air becomes dry and harsh on the sinuses, nose, throat, and skin. The Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic Humidifier
can generate up to 3.5 gallons of water a day, and it comes with a built-in hygrostat so that you can monitor
the relative humidity level and a humidistat to control the humidity level.
Easy to use and maintain, the Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic Humidifiers come with either digital or manual controls and a
removable transparent cover. Operation is a breeze
with digital controls like an LCD display, timer, automatic mode, sleep mode, and indicators that let you
know when it's time to empty or clean the unit. An
adjustable regulator lets you choose the intensity of the mist. The Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic Humidifiers are
ultra-quiet and do not consume much power.
The high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations destroy most bacteria and
viruses, and the water is pre-heated to 180F to destroy remaining
microbes. The patented Ionic Silver Stick uses the natural
antimicrobial properties of silver to eliminate bacteria and
viruses, ensuring that the water remains clean and hygienic. The
Ionic Silver Stick needs to be replaced only once a year. A demineralization cartridge,
which should be replaced every three months, prevents mineral residues
from contaminating the water.

 Air-O-Swiss Humidifiers

My wife just came from Vietnam and never get used to the southern California's dry weather, so i went out to do shopping for a humidifier. Needlessly to say shopping for good one is hard, and if you are not careful, you can pay big bucks for something that does not work at all. I initially looked at the one from Sharper Images in Bed Bath & Beyond that sells for $79, it looks just like this Air-O-Swiss E2441, but i have to say it's quality was crappy, and why have 2 tanks of water? I went online and found this site, read all of them, and liked the AOS E2441 the most, but it's not for a big room. So, my second choice was this Air-O-Swiss E2441. It is quite amazingly easy to set up. Build quality is excellent, open the box, fill the tank with water, plug in, and turn it on...that's it. The settings are easy as well. The digital humidity control % actually works super good. Within the first night, the wife feels better and she has to admit she loves it. We decided to get the second Air-O-Swiss 7135 for our young sons' room. I have never used a humidifier for the past 28 years living in the southern California's dry condition area, but this one convinced me well. Many reviews have mentioned the digital light bothers them at night, i don't think it's a problem at all, unless you just lay on bed looking at it. It does however, has a very very low humming noise when the night is completely quiet, but again it doesn't bother us a bit at day time and in the evening in any room, you don't even notice when it's on, it is VERY quiet. I want to thank this site for its detailed reviews and well organized information for each type and models. Air-O-Swiss are great products.

Sleep - At Last

I can finally sleep all night long. I recently moved from West Texas to Northern Virginia I had been suffering with a sinus infection for 3 weeks when I ordered this product. I could immediately tell the difference in the room. I started to feel much better within a few days. It is very easy to set up and refill. I would,and have, highly recommend this product to friends and family.

What a great humidifier

I have been suffering from sinus problems for years. I've tried several different humidifiers and have returned all of them. Until I purchased the Air-O-Swiss Humidifier. It works fantastic it delivers a great deal of humidity to bedrooms. I like it so much I have bought one for each bedroom in the house.

This Air-O-Swiss ultrasonic humidifier uses high-frequency vibrations to turn the water
into a micro-fine mist that creates a comfortable environment in any room. This model provides you a dual option with a
water pre-heating function, when the mist exits the Air-O-Swiss 7135 at a pleasant 104 degrees, as well as a cool mist option
where the water exits at ambient temperatures. Intelligent Temperature technology monitors the temperature and
automatically adjusts the output when conditions change. These features give this ultrasonic humidifier a range of capabilities
that make it truly unique.
The Air-O-Swiss 7135 and 7133 are virtually identical models. From features to product specifications, these two humidifiers
largely mirror each other. The only real difference between these two models, aside from price, is the controls of each.
With the 7135 Ultrasonic the controls are electronic with a digital readout. With the 7133 Ultrasonic the controls are manual and
adjusted with the use of two knobs. With the digital controls of the AOS 7135 you have an timer and sleep mode feature that the
AOS 7133 lacks. Aside from controls and price, these two humidifiers are identical in performance and capability.
What I like about the Air-O-Swiss 7135 Ultrasonic Humidifier
The versatility of this unit makes it one of the best humidifiers available today. Though I generally do not suffer
from sinus problems or dryness year round, the warm or cool mist options are great for any time of year. The capacity is large
enough that I'm not constantly refilling it while I use it, and the weight and size make it ideal for any room in a house or
apartment. The timer mode is an excellent additional feature, and I generally set it to run for the full nine hours before I
go to sleep at night. That means that I don't have to worry about shutting it off in the mornings.
I tested this humidifier in my apartment. The air in my
apartment is very dry which it makes it difficult to get a good
night's sleep. During the winter months, I almost always wake up
with my eyes stinging or with a nose and throat that feels like it's been through a blast furnace. I usually do not like to use
a humidifier in my bedroom, because I am a very light sleeper, but the AOS 7135 was surprisingly quiet. The near silent
operation of the fan did not keep me from falling asleep.
Air-O-Swiss set itself apart from other brands with the combination of three key features: the Ionic Silver Stick, the Ultrasonic Technology,
and the Demineralization Cartridge. The Silver Stick uses silver ions to keep the 7135's water tank free of bacteria and other microbes.
The Ultrasonic Technology furthers this in that the ultrasonic vibrations work to not only turn the water to mist but also break
apart some microbes. Lastly, the demineralization cartridge acts as a filter to prevent any mineral content found in your water from
being dispersed into the air. This cartridge also helps keep the tank free of mineral build up that is often found in regular humidifier
use.
What I do not like about the Air-O-Swiss 7135 Ultrasonic Humidifier
There is not much to dislike about this humidifier. It is one of our best sellers and I did not have any problems
with it during our product testing. If I had to choose one downside to this model, it would be that you have a cartridge to
replace every three months and an Ionic Silver Stick to replace each year. Be it that these two features help keep the
Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic running smoothly and free of bacteria and viruses, the cost to replace these is relatively minor.
In summary, the Air-O-Swiss 7135 combines simple operation with minimal energy
use and unmatched versatility. The improved system helps keep the tank water clean, hygienic and minimizes fine dust
that is sometimes left by other brands of
ultrasonic humidifiers. The AOS 7135 is near silent, and its sleek design
minimizes its footprint in your bedroom or living area. |
