*The Bed Bug Resistant designation is one we reserve for the Allergy Armor Vinyl. While the vinyl is an effective barrier against bed bugs, the very end of the zippered enclosure is not specially sewn (like the certified bed bug-proof Allergy Armor Bed Bug bedding is). Since the Allergy Armor Vinyl is used only for box springs, we recommend that once the box spring cover is installed and zipped up, simply apply a small piece of tape over the very end of the zipper. The tape covers the very small gap that can sometimes remain even after the cover is zipped up.
