Allergy Carpet Cleaning

Many experts agree that minimal or no carpeting is the best option for allergy sufferers, because dust mites thrive in carpets. But tearing up carpeting is not always desirable or feasible. Fortunately, there are products specifically designed to combat dust mites living not only in carpets, but also in upholstered furniture. These products come in a few different forms: Allersearch X-Mite is a powder that you sprinkle on carpets and rub in, then you leave it sitting for three hours before you vacuum it up: Ecology Works DustMite and Flea Control is also a powder, but to use it, you mix it with water and spray; Anti-Allergen Solution is a plant-based formula that denatures protein allergens on contact.

Dust Mite Control: Allergy Bedding
