The Dyson DC25 Animal is a powerful upright vacuum cleaner that works great on pet hair
and other tough cleaning tasks. This latest model in the Dyson
Ball™ series allows you to vacuum smoothly around furniture and
other obstacles with the signature Dyson Ball™ technology.
Three powerful cyclones spin pet dander, hair, dirt, dust, and
other allergens out of carpet, and the lifetime HEPA filter
traps microscopic allergens. You can recognize the Dyson Animal vacuums by their distinctive

High Velocity Air Intake
Intake nozzles on the DC25 tools direct high velocity
airflow down into the carpet pile. This means that

continuous, even when vacuuming curtains or upholstery,

 Finally love a vac!

I've been through a million vacuum cleaners, cheap and expensive. I read the reviews on this one and splurged. I have absolutely no complaints OTHER THAN the reach of the hand-held hose, which is a little awkward and doesn't extend far. Other than that, this machine is a pleasure to use, it is lightweight, maneuverable, hard-working and does what it advertises. I no longer dread the vac job and don't end up with a back and neck ache after a whole-house cleaning. The canister is a breeze to empty and the filters are easy to clean. The outside remains dust-free, so I know the filters are working!

We love our Dyson!

My husband and I were sick of buying inexpensive vacuums that would break in a year - so we decided to splurge and get a dyson. We absolutely love it. Although we do not have pets, we do have a 7 month old baby, and the thought of her crawling around on the filthy carpet was horrifying. Now, our carpets are so clean! We couldn't believe the amount of dust and dirt we were able to get up, and now we have no worries about our daughter playing on the floor. We will never own anything else! I highly recommend this product to anyone, pet owners or not :

I like this vacuum, but I vacuum up after my pet alot and you have to empty it all the time. It does do a good job on pet hair and that is better than other vacs I have owned. I have two cats and highly recommend it to other people who have a hard time keeping up with pet hair.

Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum
Cleaner
With the DC25 Animal, Dyson attempts to address some of the
concerns of previous models. Older Dyson vacuums were often
heavy and hard to maneuver. With the introduction of the
Dyson Ball™ technology, Dyson took a big step forward in
designing a vacuum that was easier to use, and after using
this design on several earlier models, it has now been
adapted to Animal series. Retaining the best features of the
DC17, The DC25 Animal is the latest combination of some of
Dyson best innovations.
What I like about the DC25 Animal:
Unlike older models which were great for vacuuming in
straight lines, the DC25 employs Dyson’s Ball™ technology.
This enhances the maneuverability of the vacuum by giving it
greater flexibility to turn and lowering its center of
gravity. These results, with a lighter overall weight than
its predecessor, give us a much more nimble vacuum.
This design also carries the weight of the DC25 vacuum
better than previous models. While the DC25 itself is
lighter than older models, the Dyson Ball™ design allows
more of the weight to settle onto the base of the vacuum,
making it less top heavy and easy to move.
As with all Dyson vacuums, the DC25 still features the Root
Cyclone, which means no clogged filters and no loss of
suction throughout the life of the vacuum. For allergy and
asthma sufferers, the DC25 is certified asthma & allergy
friendly™ by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
The DC25 Animal does not require bags nor do you have to
worry about changing the washable, lifetime HEPA filter.
Lastly, to best help you meet your cleaning needs, the DC25
has a wide array of attachments that will fit this machine.
What I do not like about the DC25 Animal:
The reach of the hose and nozzle is a little less than
previous models. While this will not be a serious setback to
most p, you do have to keep the machine closer to you when
using the suction hose.
We would have liked to have seen an increased holding
capacity for the DC25. At just under 1/3 of a gallon the
capacity leaves some room for improvement. The ease of
emptying the canister helps alleviate some of this.
The DC25 Animal is a much needed improvement over the
previous Animal models. This upright, coupled with a 5 year
warranty and the added convenience of no bags or HEPA
filters to replace, is ideal for asthma and allergy
sufferers, particularly those who have pets.
