 Dust & fibers & cat hair, oh my!

I received this vaccum as a gift from my husband yes, I know, most wives would shreak!, but I asked for it. I'm crazy about a clean floor and with ~5~ cats, this baby is well worth it! I honestly use it at least 3 times a week now that I have a toddler on the floor and I'm still amazed at what the Animal picks up, even after several years of use. Love my Dyson!

I have been married 34 years and I've had lots of vacuum cleaners. Recently my hubby bought a used travel trailor and the Dyson vacuum cleaner was left inside it. At first glance I thought the vacuum cleaner was an elcheapo and so I got it out and vacuumed the little bit of carpet there was in the trailor I was so impressed at what a great job the vacuum did, I decided to try it in my home. I was amazed at how much dirt and hair the vacuum cleaner collected....I emptied the dirt trap (So easy) and vacuumed again...more dirt and hair came up. I then decided to look it up online and I was pleasently surprised that this expensive vacuum had been left behind by the previous owners. (lucky for me) I will never use any other brand of vacuum cleaner again...I'M SOLD ON DYSON..lol

This vacuum works exceptionally well. I moved into a very dirty house and I borrowed a fairly new vacuum from my mom to clean. I vacuumed the hallway and bedroom, used a wash vacuum, and then vacuumed it again. I then got my Dyson and went over the same area. The Dyson filled halfway up its container with dirt and stuff the other vacuum didn't pick up. I was impressed. I thought the transitioning of using the standup to the more controlled hand-held would be a pain, but it was actually very quick and easy. The Dyson is definitely worth the cost to me.
