Many humidifiers are a source of stagnant water which grow mold and bacteria; these organisms are then misted into the air.  Enviracaire humidifiers are unique, with a dual germicidal process featuring both ultraviolet light and boiling water, creating a mist 99.99% free of mold, mold spores, and bacteria.  

The Enviracaire Humidifier uses a two-step approach to eliminate potentially harmful microorganisms before they are spread into the air. First, a special UV germicidal bulb shines on the water, as it passes from the cold water reservoirs to the hot.  Second, the water is boiled in the hot water reservoir, just before the mist is distributed to the room.
