My twin sister is allergic to cats and dogs. My husband and I were hoping my Beagle puppy would be different but - nope, after about being around him for half a day at Thanksgiving she got her watery eyes and sneezing which lasted a few days. I figured there was nothing I could do and relented to having to keep him or my sister quarantined during the Christmas holidays. But after reading about achoo allergy I ordered some feeling positive with all the great reviews. And....it worked!! Our dog Dewey was free to walk around the house and my sister was totally fine! It was the best Christmas present for all of us! Thank you so much!!

I have used this product 3 or 4 times so far and will continue to use it. My wire/short hair Dachshund is soft and fluffy after his bath and smells delightful. The last time I used it however I noticed more dandruff after the bath then there was before, this may be due to the extra scrubbing I did this time he rolled in the mud for an hour that day Overall I would recommend this product to others.

I was skeptical this would work, but I was totally surprised that the claims were true. No itchy eyes after touching my puppy. I can snuggle with him without fear of an allergy attack!

Q1: Can you use this product on puppies and kitties?
A: Yes. The common compounds that can irritate sensitive skin are not a part of Ecology Works products. The ingredients are plant based extracts and compounds that are safe for all types of pets. The Pet Shampoo is a very mild product yet when using with puppies on kittens, only a very small amount is required.
Q2: Hello, My dog suffers from dust mite allergies, but from reading the reviews it seems like this helps the pets owner. I am trying to find relief for my pet. Will this product be helpful?
A: No, Ecology Works Pet Shampoo will work in both regards. Not only will it help reduce the dander allergen that causes allergic reactions in people, but it denatures most protein based allergens, including dust mite allergen. So if your pet does have problems with dust mites, this will help.
Q3: Will this burn their eyes if it comes in contact with them?
A: I consistently use it on my dog, and I know another of my coworker's uses it on his dog as well. Both of us have accidentally gotten the lather in our dogs' eyes at different points, and it has never seemed to cause and different reaction than when they get plain water in their eyes. I'm not suggesting it is irritation free, but seems to be a much gentler type of pet shampoo.

Ecology Works Anti Allergy Pet Shampoo
As a dog owner, I can say that while I love my dog dearly, dog odors and the pet hair
drive me nuts! While I am often fine around him, if it has been a week or so since he has had a bath, my dog will
cause me to wake up sneezing and itching anywhere his hair touches my skin. For the last few years, I have used the Ecology Works Pet Shampoo with excellent
results.
What I like about Pet Shampoo
There are 4 main reasons why I like and continue to use this anti-allergy pet shampoo.
Reduces Allergens: This pet shampoo effectively removes saliva, dander and other allergens
that commonly become trapped in the dog's coat. Natural Tick and Flea Repellent: Unlike the harsh pesticides or insecticides found in commonly used
flea and tick repellents, Ecology Works pet shampoo uses a natural repellent like Neem Tree Extract (Oil). My dog is 5 years old and has NEVER had a tick
or flea on him. This may not be the case for everyone who uses this dog shampoo, but this is my personal experience. Lather: I've used several types of pet shampoos, and many that are specifically anti-allergy shampoos
often don't clean that well. Ecology Works is thick and creates a nice foamy lather. Cleans: It cleans very well, and leaves my dog smelling good for a few days before his eventual dog
stink starts to creep back in.
What I do not like about Pet Shampoo
I really only have two complaints about the Ecology Works Anti Allergen Pet Shampoo, and both are minor. The cost is a bit higher
than more common pet shampoos. I reason this is largely insignificant since I save over $120 a year in not purchasing traditional flea and tick
repellent medication. My only other concern with Pet Shampoo is the amount. Personally, I'd like to see larger bottles.
Overall, I can find few flaws with the Ecology Works Pet Shampoo, and my experience with this products has been an overwhelming positive one. For me, it
cleans well, removes allergens and smells a lot better than traditional flea and tick shampoos. With this, I also avoid constantly exposing my dog to
pesticides and insecticides. For those allergic to or have family members who are allergic to pet dander and even those who simply want to try a healthier
way to bathe their pet, I highly recommend trying this pet shampoo.
