Just because the pollen and grass allergy
season is winding down, don't think you can breathe without a
wheeze or a worry. Dust mites know no season. The tiny
arachnids (not insects) are related to spiders and ticks and,
though they are not inhaled, their feces and body fragments
cause allergy symptoms.

A release from Achoo! Allergy says that 80 percent of allergy
sufferers are sensitive to dust mites, the most common cause of
year-round allergy and asthma problems. The microscopic,
monster-looking mites hang out in bedding—mattresses, box springs
and pillows—feeding on dead skin cells. Achoo! Allergy was founded
six years ago by Cade McDonald, an allergy victim. The online and
catalog company publishes Achoo! Review, a monthly newsletter that
goes to more than 30,000 subscribers. The Atlanta company offers
air filters, pillows, detergents and other cleaning supplies, flea
