Reliable GO E20 Steam Cleaners
As the beginning of the mid-level Reliable steam vapor cleaners, the EnviroMate GO E20 is a versatile, multi-purpose steam cleaning system.
The GO provides consistent clean steam vapor to clean and sanitize throughout your home or office. The GO can sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
or break up baked messes and remove grease, all with nothing more than heat and water.
For allergy, asthma, MCS sufferers, or those worried about germs, the new Reliable GO E20 kills bacteria, viruses, mold, mildew, dust mites, and
other dangerous pathogens like E. Coli and Salmonella. This steam cleaner leaves nothing behind, but a safe, chemical-free surface.
Steam deodorizes and lifts soil from the pores of even hard surfaces, leaving a deep clean without any residue. The EnviroMate GO can even remove chemical
residue left from previous cleanings. By using only heat and water, steam cleaning is a safer, healthier and more environmentally friendly way to
clean and sanitize your home.
*Please note that we recommend that you drain and descale the tank once after every fifteen uses, or when the unit is going to remain unused
for a prolonged period of time.

Reliable GO E20 Steam Cleaner
The Reliable EnviroMate GO E20 is the next step up beyond the introductory E3 & E5 steam cleaners. With the GO, you get not only better internal
components, like improved circuitry and a more durable stainless steel boiler but you also get a steam cleaner with a more rugged ABS shell and better
made attachments and accessories. And while the accessories of the GO are not interchangeable with the E3/E5, Tandem or PRO steam vapor cleaners, they are
with the EnviroMate VIVA. As first mid level steam cleaner in the current Reliable offering, this is how the GO stacks up to the rest of field.
What I like about the Reliable GO E20
As the first mid-level steam cleaner, the GO offers a few upgrades over the less expensive models while delivering consistently reliable steam.
It offers all of the basic features you look for in a steam cleaner designed for smaller to average sized households. Consistent steam pressure
and temperature are within range to help reduce or eliminate many of the bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms found throughout the home. And
compared to both more expensive and less expensive Reliable steam cleaners, the GO delivers a very similar cleaning performance in its ability to
safely clean and sanitize without the use of harsh chemicals.
The attachments are a little better constructed than the lower E series steam cleaners. You really won't notice this unless you are comparing them
side by side, but the attachments found in the GO and VIVA are of slightly better quality. That lends itself for a little more longevity, but the
most noticeable differences are in the handle and body. The GO has a more pistol styled handle with an electric trigger. Like the other models, it too comes
with a locking mechanism to help prevent any mishaps or accidental messes. The body is actual ABS plastic, which can withstand more abuse than
a standard plastic without cracking or breaking.
The EnviroMate GO has dual heating elements to provide 1700W of heating ability. While the heat up time is still the same as the E3 or E5, the difference
is found in the temperature of the steam. Due to the better heating elements and overall better construction, the GO is the first of the Reliable steam
cleaners that will provide 245° F of hot steam at the tip. And while we say not to place too much emphasis in temperatures, this extra heat means it'll
be a little easier neutralizing microbes.
This steam cleaner rolled behind me fairly well as I cleaned. Most of the attachments were practical and useful with a few exceptions. And
the ergonomic handle steam trigger allowed me to have steam at the push of a button. I would recommend, as with all steam cleaners that you flush
the system once the steam is ready. Simply point the handle into a sink or shower stall and allow steam to flow consistently for the first few
seconds before beginning with your cleaning routine. This can help eliminate saturating the towels with water that has possibly cooled from its
vapor form and condensed into water in the handle or steam line.
What I do not like about the Reliable GO E20
The GO E20 does not have Reliable's Continuous Steam System, so you have to wait for the boiler to reheat and build up pressure after each refill.
For most users this won't be a major concern, but for those who steam clean large spaces or use the machine for extended periods of time, you'll likely
want to opt for a model that allows for continuous steam without the reheat time.
One possible drawback I have noticed with all Reliable steam cleaners is that they lack a filler pad. These are usually a polyester pad
that some steam cleaner brands include. The fit in the open area of the rectangular or triangular attachments, and what the pads do is increase the
surface area of the cloth that actually touches the floor. So with Reliable steam cleaners, after use you my notice dirt and debris mainly collects
where the bristles touch the cloth. With a filler pad, more of the cloth actually touches the floor, which allows the cloth to pick up more debris
while you steam.
While there are always upgrades that we would like to see in every model, as a steam cleaner for those newer to steam cleaning,
the Reliable E20 is a good choice. The components are well made, and this model is still priced to fit the budgets of most folks who are
serious about finding a healthier way to clean their homes. The deep cleaning and sanitizing ability of this model makes it a great tool for allergy, asthma,
and MCS sufferers, and overall, it is a safer way to clean and sanitize without the harsh ammonia or bleach cleaners.
