Dear Fellow Allergy Sufferers,
October is a wonderful month to live in the city of Atlanta. We have been having cool temperatures in the morning and 70 degree afternoons. It seems like everyone in my neighborhood is outdoors doing some kind of fun activity. I am excited about the weather and I am thrilled by the approaching winter holiday season. For me, the winter months seem to be a little easier for me to deal with my daily allergies.
However, it is a common misconception that every allergy sufferer has an easier time during the winter. Often, the opposite is the case because of how much time is spent indoors without an air purifier or a humidifier. With that idea in mind, we have reached out to a couple of our corporate family members for help. These companies have responded in a big way. Alen Corp. has agreed to give away a free Alen Paralda air purifier in November to one lucky allergy sufferer. In the same way, Vornado responded by offering a free evaporative humidifier to one of our lucky Facebook fans. And we are extending this by offering a discount on Alen and Vornado products. It is great to work with companies that share in our goal of making our customers healthier and happier.
People with allergies also need to remain vigilant as fall ragweed season ends. There might be a tendency to relax or change your daily allergy regimen. In our allergist interview for October, Dr. Timothy Sullivan agrees with me. He stresses to his patients the importance of sticking to your allergy treatment plan. If your plan is working for you, do not relax because the weather is getting a little colder and maybe the pollen and ragweed counts are lower. If you have an interesting story about winter allergies, or if you just want to comment on one of our allergy relief products, I encourage you to check out our AchooAllergy Facebook page and post to our wall.

Ragweed
Allergies FAQ
Ragweed allergy, like nearly all other allergies, is the overreaction of the body's immune system to what is essentially a harmless substance. In the case of people with allergies, the human immune system is treating ragweed pollen as a harmful substance instead of ignoring it.

Awesome Product - Allergy Armor Advanced Bedding Package
I Recently ordered encasings for me and my son's bed. We have dust mite and mold allergies . I have already noticed a big difference in my son. Who is 14 and suffered for many years with repeat sinus infections. Finally went and saw an Allergy doctor and he suggested we get these. So, glad I did because we feel so much better. Definitely worth the price, I researched for about 3 months online before I bought these. And Achoo!
allergy was the only business that would send me a fabric sample
of their products and within like 3 days. Tried to get one from National Allergy Supply and they never would email or call me back. That says a lot about the company. They were easy to put on, and I don't even notice them. I bought the Advanced package for both bed, the allerpet
shampoo, and x-mite carpet cleaner. Also got the
demineralization cartridges and ionic stick for our son's
humidifier. This was a big purchase but definitely worth every
penny. - Susan
