Dear Fellow Allergy Sufferers,

We strive to offer our customers ways to beat their allergies and we're all for using a combination of treatment avenues, including medication when necessary, products, lifestyle choices, and natural remedies. In the past, we've explored natural treatments like acupuncture and NAET. This month, we take a look at herbal remedies, supplements, and food choices that can help combat allergy symptoms.

There are many options when it comes to allergy treatment. Which brings us to another point: Allergist Dr. Susann Kircher, whom we interviewed this month, points out that many people feel there's no escape from their allergy symptoms, that they are just something they have to put up with, or that "everyone's allergic to dust." Not so!

It took me years to see an allergist, and even longer to implement his recommendation to use dust mite covers. But I discovered that a life with little to no allergy symptoms is absolutely within reach. And this is what we are all about getting the word out that there are effective solutions to allergies and helping people find what those solutions are.

"With allergies, patients can take ownership of their disease and then take steps to feel better. Quality of life is sometimes underrated, but it shouldn't be."

Treat Allergies with Herbs, Foods, & Supplements
This month, we take a look at several forms of natural allergy treatment. As Mary Hardy, MD, director of integrative medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles says, "Using nature-based products can be a very useful way to handle mild allergies and a useful adjunct for more significant allergies, and there are many types of treatments you can safely try."

Excellent for travel or small room AllerAir AirTube Air Purifier

I purchased an AirTube for my niece, so her son can have clean, pathogen reduced air. The unit is quiet and easy to move about. HEPA and charcoal filters plus UV kill are key features we wanted. Seems to have the same solid build of larger room purifiers in my home. So far, my larger AllerAir purifiers are trouble free with durability and ease of filter changes. I expect the same for the AirTube. If the industrial look of AllerAir filters does not hurt your home decor and you want a filter that works for many years, AllerAir is my top choice. PS- I do not work for AllerAir. I just like to breathe clean air!
