- The StatBan anti-static polymer chamber delivers more medication to the patient.
- The ComfortSeal mask for the AeroChamber MAX features an EZ Flow exhalation valve to make exhalation easier.
- A new flow dynamic valve and baffle system increases the amount of medicine that makes it to your lungs and decreases oral deposition of medicine for reduced side effects.
- A new universal adapter fits all commonly prescribed inhalers, including new HFA inhalers.

AeroChamber Plus VHC FAQ What is a valved holding chamber ("VHC")?
Valved holding chambers are devices designed for use with
metered-dose inhalers (MDI). Their purpose is to improve medication
delivery, decrease deposition of medication in the mouth and throat,
and eliminate the need to coordinate activating the MDI with
inhaling the medication.
Holding chambers have valves that prevent medication loss during
exhalation by allowing air to flow through the chamber only during
inspiration. For children with asthma, an MDI with a holding chamber
may be easier to use and more effective than an MDI alone.
What is AeroChamber Plus Valved Holding Chamber ("VHC")?
AeroChamber Plus VHC is an improvement of the original AeroChamber
VHC. It is designed to:
Maximize delivery of pressurized metered-dose inhaler (pMDI)
medications to patients' lungs
Reduce patients' need for hand-breath coordination
Reduce oral deposition
How is AeroChamber Plus VHC different than AeroChamber VHC?
AeroChamber Plus VHC includes upgrades not found in the original
AeroChamber VHC. These improvements include:
Chamber design. AeroChamber Plus VHC delivers 22% more medication
than the original AeroChamber VHC. The new design maximizes
fine-particle dosage and allows aerosolized medication to be
suspended in the chamber, which minimizes the need for hand-breath
coordination.
Inhalation valve. The inhalation valve is new and more durable.
Designed for low resistance, it is effective with low respiratory
effort.
Exhalation valve. The exhalation valve has been refined to provide
low resistance to exhaled flow.
MDI adapter. A new polymer material has been selected for the MDI
adapter to improve durability.
Latex-free mask. The latex-free mask has been redesigned to be more
comfortable and provide a better fit.
Is AeroChamber Plus VHC available with different mask sizes?
As with the original AeroChamber VHC, AeroChamber Plus VHC is
available with and without a mask. The masks are available in three
sizes: small, medium,
and large. |

This is a great product and at a reasonable price as well as an easy site to use. My son has asthma and this AeroChamber Plus works great to maximize the amount of medication he is inhaling.

This chamber helped to make the transition from nubulizer much easier because we could moniter whether our daughter was inhaling enough air/medication. We could see the flap move.
