Commercial air purifiers usually are used clean/restoration site, whole house applications, and in offices or more specialized
locations, i.e. dental offices or clean rooms. Air purifiers that best suit these larger areas generally have higher CFM's, are larger or heavier
in size, and some are equipped with application specific filters or filter media. Some units attach to HVAC systems while others are designed like the more common
free standing air purifiers.
Before purchasing,
carefully consider the type of filtration you need as well as the coverage limitations of these units. If possible, select units that will
yield at least 2-4 air exchanges per hour based on their CFM and coverage abilities.
