Allersearch Allergen Wash |
| Traditionally, allergists have recommended washing items in water 140 degrees or hotter to kill
dust mites and eliminate their allergen. However, frequent hot water
washings can damage and fade fabrics. Allersearch Allergen Wash offers an effective solution by removing allergens in any water
temperature. This anti-allergen wash works against dust mites, pet dander, mold, mildew, and pollen. Now you can wash even your most delicate fabrics, and be
relieved of your allergy and asthma symptoms. Contains no perfumes, dyes, or other irritating additives.
Front loading washing machines and high efficiency washing machines are growing in popularity in the US due to their many
benefits over top loading washing machines. Allersearch Allergen Wash is perfect for use in these washing machines. Use
slightly less than the instructions state. Instead of the 3/4 of the included red cup,
use 1/2 of a cup or 1 1/2 table spoons.

This detergent has really helped with my bedding in particular. I do wake up much less sniffly and can tell that my sinuses are less blocked while I'm in bed. However, it's not great at removing dirt or stains, which I found out the hard way when none of my white washcloths came out clean even though I used a lot of detergent. You really have to use this in addition to your regular detergent, though I don't use as much. However, that makes it even more expensive to use. I was curious about whether anyone had just tried adding tea tree oil? Of course, by itself that's expensive, too.

    amazing stuff!
Reviewed by: Dust Mite, pollen, mold allergy sufferers from malvern, Pennsylvania, land of mold

I bought this because my dog has severe dust mite allergies, so bad she had nose bleeds from inflammation... after $3,000 in test and allergy testing it was clear something had to happen. I started with the laundry detergent for all laundry and dust mite covers on all dog beds and ours! I have dedicated towels for the dogs muddy feet that have never come 'all' the way clean.. until I used this detergent. And you use some a tiny amount of it, it lasts and lasts. we had all the carpets removed from our home and our dog has much improved as have we. I highly recommend this detergent, leave the heavy perfumed expensive stuff at the grocery store and get some really fresh clean clothes from Allersearch Allergen Wash. We have other dogs with pollen and mold allergies who area also improving.

Customer Q & A
Q1: I have antique linens my grandmother crocheted, what?, maybe 70-80 yrs ago - they have been stored and whenever I use them I have an allergy attack. I've washed and rewashed, bleached, etc. and it doesnt seem to work. Will your product harm the delicate fibers? Is it even possible at this point to salvage them?
A: The Allergen wash may work. It's difficult to determine since I'm not sure what material she used for crocheting them. It could possibly be something that cannot be washed out of the material. You could also try the Ecology Works Anti Allergen Detergent. It has a slightly milder formula, but regardless, I would test a small amount by hand washing a corner. Typically, there are no problems with either of these products, even on delicate items. If you have washed these linens in the washing machine with regular supermarket detergent, chances are very good that neither will harm them. There are a much wider variety of chemicals in standard laundry detergents than either the Allersearch Laundry Additive or the Ecology Works Anti Allergen Detergent.

Allersearch Allergen Wash
Allersearch Allergen Wash is great for allergy sufferers who cannot wash their linens or delicates in hot water. It safely and effectively helps rid your
laundry of dust mites, pollen, mold, and other allergens. Allersearch Allergen Wash can be used on it's own as a detergent for cleaning
and neutralizing allergens, but most people find that using little bit of their standard detergent is helpful in that it gives them
the fragrance they are used to. For allergy sufferers or those sensitive to fragrances, Allersearch Allergen Wash is
perfect in that it has little to no smell or fragrance.
What I like about Allersearch Allergen Wash
- Allows you to get rid of dust mites, pollen, mold and other allergens even in cold and warm water
- Comes in an easy to use bottle, 2 capfuls for a medium load
- The bottle lasts a while: 30 medium loads
- Doesn't have much a smell or fragrance
- Can be used with your regular detergent or by itself
What I didn't like about Allersearch Allergen Wash
- Wish it came in a bigger bottle
In summary, I give the Allersearch Allergen Wash 5 out of 5 stars.
It is a perfect solution for allergy sufferers to not have to wash linens or other laundry in hot water. It is easy to use and inexpensive.
Allergen wash is safe and effective, and though it won't produce soap suds like standard laundry detergents, it can
be used by itself to clean laundry and neutralize allergens.
