3M Filtrete Micro Allergen Furnace Filter

The Micro Allergen Filtrete Furnace Filter from 3M is the most economical Filtrete furnace filter that still provides a high level of efficiency in capturing allergens such as pollen, mold, dust, and pet dander. Filtrete's Micro Allergen Filter also filters out even smaller particles such as smog and smoke. As with other Filtrete furnace filters, the Micro Allergen Filter uses electrostatic charges to attract and capture particles.

Filtrete furnace filters are disposable. Replace every three months with normal use.

The Micro furnace filter from 3M efficiently captures larger particles (dust, lint, pollen, etc.) as well as micro-particles from 0.3 microns and up. Unlike traditional fiberglass furnace filters that simply work to keep dust out of the HVAC motor and blower, these work to not only protect your heating and cooling system but also clean the air circulating throughout your home. Meeting the American Lung Association’s Health House indoor air quality standards, the 3M Micro filter is an electrostatically charged filter which provides cleaner air at an affordable price. Those who are more sensitive to airborne allergens and dander or who are more concerned with capturing bacteria or particulate possibly carrying viruses should consider upgrading to either the 3M Advance or Ultra.
