3M Filtrete Ultra Quiet Air Purifier The 3M Ultra Quiet is the quietest air purifier available on the market. The electrostatically charged fibers in the filter capture microscopic allergens like: smoke, smog, household dust, pet dander, bacteria, and particles that can carry viruses. Additionally, the easily changeable filter captures 99.9% of large airborne allergens like pollen, mold and dust mite debris.

What I like about the 3M Filtrete Ultra Quiet Air Purifier:
The best attribute of the 3M Ultra Quiet is that the unit is unobtrusive, but still gets the job done. The unit is light and very quiet. I tested the Ultra Quiet in my office at work. Without turning it off or changing the speed setting, I had uninterrupted telephone conversations and meetings. For under $100, you can enjoy cleaner air without constantly turning off the unit. Also, there are good extras including a filter change indicator and a 3 speed (low, medium, and high) setting for the fan.

What I do not like about the 3M Filtrete Ultra Quiet Air Purifier:
The Ultra Quiet is limited by its size. It is effective in rooms or spaces up to 110 square feet. There is also an added filter cost. We recommend that filters be replaced every 3 months. The filter change indicator will analyze the filter and the change timer will countdown to let you know when a new filter is needed. 3M Filtrete does recommend periodically inspecting the filter for damage or blockage.
