Maybe you're wondering What is TENCEL™? Well, the word "TENCEL" is simply a brand name for Lyocell. And Lyocell is a fabric made from sustainable wood pulp fiber. In our case, our fabric is made from eucalyptus wood pulp fiber. Although there are many versions of Lyocell fabric on the market, TENCEL™ is among the best in terms of quality and durability.

Now you may be thinking How is TENCEL™ Made? It's done using sustainably responsible practices. Specifically, Lyocell uses sustainably sourced raw wood known as "regenerated cellulose ."This regenerated cellulose is made by harvesting raw wood, churned into pulp, and then broken down by a natural and organic solvent. Once broken down, the wood is then formed into fibers by a machine. After the fibers are formed, they can then be made into fabric.

TENCEL™ Fabric is Excellent for Allergies for many reasons, the main one being that it is specifically designed to be allergen-resistant. Additionally, unlike ordinary bedding fabric TENCEL™ has a tighter weave which makes it particularly resistant to dust mites.
