Advanced Three-Layer Filtration:

Only Blueair uses patented HEPASilent™ Filtration Technology. This works by using both electrostatic and mechanical filtration to more efficiently capture airborne contaminates. • A removable, machine washable, reusable fabric Pre-Filter Sleeve captures larger dust, dander, and hair particles to help prolong the primary filters lifespan. The included fabric Pre-FIlter's comes in Dark Shadow and Diva Blue with other optional colors, Crystal Pink, Buff Yellow, Lunar Rock, sold separately!
• The primary or main HEPASilent™ Filter removes particle matter down to 2.5 microns, including dust, pollen, mold, pet dander, bacteria, and viruses. It does this through electrostatic and mechanical filtration, with positively charged particles being more easily trapped in the negatively charged filter material. This results in more efficient and quiet operation overall!
• After air passes through both of these filters, it then flows through the Activated Carbon Filter. This layer goes to work, ridding areas of common household odors like cooking and smoke odors. In addition, it helps absorb pet odors and light chemicals, and VOCs as well.
