Description
The Respro Sportsta face mask replacement filter (medium) works on the basis of electrostatically charged fibers attracting and retaining fine particulate down to 0.1 microns in size, and larger, as air flows through the filter. Most other filters usually work purely by mechanical retention, which is associated with high inhalation resistance, but because the replacement Sportsta filter uses both of these types of filtration, the filter traps more particles at a higher right. With the European equivalent filtration of N95, the Sportsta filter not only removes allergen particles but can be effective in reducing the spread of viruses like the flu and SARS. Replace as needed or after 50-60 hours of use. 2 replacement filters per pack.
