Operation is Easy with quiet and steady motors that can raise and lower the bed to your favorite or ideal position. A cordless remote allows for simple and convenient settings control and can stand vertically on the nightstand for easier access. A headboard hugger feature keeps you closer to your nightstand when raising the head of the bed for convenience. Lastly, you can simply press the flat button once, and the bed will lower without holding the buttons down until it goes into position.

Multiple Sizing Options allow for personalization to your specific needs and requirements. In addition, five leg height positions allow you to choose from a 23″ to 27″ overall mattress height with Royal Latex Quilt-Top Mattress. Other leg heights are available in case you want it even lower. For a king size, choose two twins xl’s side by side so each person can adjust the bed to their liking, or get one king size mattress, and both adjustable bed bases can be programmed to operate together to raise and lower the one big Cal-King or Est-King mattress.

Looking from the outside in, let's start with the Mattress cover. Royal-Pedic's inner cotton padding is completely encased in a gorgeous, 100% Belgian cotton ticking and a luxurious, non-slippery fabric that ventilates body heat and prevents any toppers from sliding. In contrast, most mattress manufacturers use slippery, polyester fabrics that don't breathe as well or keep toppers in place.

Next, let's go inside. Premium-quality staple cotton padding is hand layered on each side of the innerspring to provide a consistent and supportive sleep surface. Royal-Pedic uses only the finest cotton batting from California and Texas. No polyurethane foam is used, not only because of its limited ability to provide consistent body support over time as it breaks down but also because it can off-gas harmful petrochemical vapors. Health-conscious people and those with allergies or chemical sensitivities (MCS) often look to avoid these chemicals.

The Royal Latex Quilt-Top is the plusher latex mattress version in the Classic Collection featuring our Swiss Designed, 7-Zone Talalay Latex Core with sumptuous, quilted surface padding for luxurious comfort. It’s great on a box spring, platform bed, or adjustable electric bed because it naturally will bend and flex to your desired position.

The inner core of the mattress is comprised of 7 zones ergonomically designed for uncompromising comfort. It features softer shoulder and hip areas for pressure point relief and a firmer lower back area to support buoyant support. Compared to springs in a mattress, latex is more motionless for a denser support feel.

Finally, think about craftsmanship. The All-Cotton mattress is hand tufted the traditional way with European tufting straps that further pre-compress the cotton padding for greater orthopedic back support. Royal-Pedic does not use buttons to tuft its mattresses because buttons tend to eventually turn on their sides, resulting in an uncomfortable sleep surface.

Royal-Pedic's Double Diamond Box Spring is its finest, providing firm yet flexible support for many years of comfort and satisfaction. On the outside, the box spring is covered in the same 100% Belgian cotton fabric as the mattress. On the inside, everything about this box spring speaks of quality, strength, and durability. The Double Diamond uses 22% more coils than the industry standard for added support and durability. Royal-Pedic also uses 50% more coils in the center third of the box spring to better support the center of your body (40% of body weight is located in the torso area). Royal-Pedic's coil wire is an extra heavy-duty 8-3/4" gauge thickness compared to the standard 9½-10" gauge wire. Additionally, this box spring includes a generous layer of staple cotton padding to support the mattress's bottom side. Heavy-duty cotton fabric is used on the underside of the box spring in place of the customary thin, non-woven synthetic that often droops and pills. To finish, brass corner guards are installed on lower corners instead of the plastic ones that easily break off.
