needed a new Dehumidifier Reviewed by: need a dry basement from Buffalo, New York Our Kenmore one did an OK job, lasted 20 months, pulled allot of moisture from the finished basement...but it was always chilly down there. We came across the Danby..WOW what a difference, the basement is much drier, the air much warmer (comfortable) down there. The machine is quieter than our last one, and it only clicks on when needed, a real energy sipper. It is even Energy Star recommended. The Danby is a winner !!
