around your home. The Duralite has a dual zipper dustbag assembly that makes changing the dustbag a snap.

Electrolux Duralite Upright Vacuum
Most of the vacuum cleaners we offer come with an array of features, and most also come with a price tag to go along with
them. In this regard, the Duralite is a little different. Basic in design but effective in nature, the Electrolux Duralite
is a no-frills cleaning machine. With a lightweight design and powerful suction, it is ideally suited for the cleaning
professional who may spend hours using this home appliance. After testing out a demo model, this is what we found.
What I like about the Electrolux Duralite
The first thing you will notice about the Duralite is the weight. At about 12 pounds, the Duralite is by far
the lightest upright vacuum we offer. The only models that come close to this are stick vacuums.
Despite the lightweight, the suction is excellent. Regardless of what types of flooring you use it on, it performs well
across carpet.
Maintenance is very simple and fast to perform on this vac. Be it that the Electrolux Duralite vacuum was designed for
hours of everyday use, changing wear parts has to be as simply a process as possible, and with the Duralite, it truly is.
The sole plate unfastens in seconds, making belt changes a breeze. And changing the bag is a very simple process.
You really can't beat the price of this model. It's priced well below any other upright we offer. While it lacks many of
the quality features that other brands have, it makes up for this with a lower price point and great cleaning ability.
What I do not like about the Electrolux Duralite
This is NOT a vacuum for allergy & asthma sufferers. It has no advanced filtration, no HEPA filter or sealed system, so it only traps things like dirt,
hair and other large particles. While the ability to clean carpets is good, you may notice that it leaves a pattern in the carpeting
after cleaning. This isn't a big issue, but something worth noting.
When considering this vacuum for what it is, it truly is an excellent value and a great carpet cleaning machine. The power, lightweight
and ease of use make it ideal for cleaning professionals. And while it's not necessarily well-suited for allergy sufferers, the Electrolux Duralite fills the role of commercial vacuum or cleaning professional vacuum cleaner, quite well.
