Food Allergy Restaurant Cards (Pack
of 50) |
If you suffer from a food allergy, then you know that eating out in a restaurant can be frustrating, stressful, and sometimes downright
scary. Clear communication with your server, the kitchen manager,
and chef is vital to your safety; however, as we all know, sometimes restaurant servers get
distracted and forget important information amidst all the chaos. The kitchen is even more hectic, and it's easy for a chef to misunderstand a server's
request, especially if the request complicated. Don't risk putting your health in the hands of others; instead, be proactive and put something else in their
hands: a Food Allergy Restaurant Card (a.k.a. Chef Card).
When you give your server a Food Allergy Restaurant Card with instructions to make sure that the kitchen manager gets it, you'll greatly increase the chances
that your server will remember your food allergy and relay the proper information to the kitchen. Developed by achoo! ALLERGY, Food Allergy Restaurant Cards
are the same size as standard business cards, and they convey a
bold message that restaurant employees cannot miss. In easy-to-understand language, the Food
Allergy Restaurant Card explains the food allergy, warns about cross-contamination, lists potentially
dangerous foods and ingredients, and informs restaurant
employees to call 911 immediately in the case of accidental ingestion of a food allergen.
Waterproof and rip-resistant, Food Allergy Restaurant Cards will survive in even the most chaotic restaurant kitchens, and they're designed vertically so that
they can be clipped with the order ticket for increased visibility. Always carry a few Food Allergy Restaurant Cards with you for those last-minute dinner
plans, and you'll be able to breathe a little easier knowing that you've done everything possible to let the restaurant staff know about your food allergy.
Food Allergy Restaurant Cards come in packs of 50 and are currently available for the following food allergies:
Peanut, Tree Nuts, Shellfish, Milk/Dairy, Wheat/Gluten,
Soy,
and Egg.

    The Card for US!
Reviewed by: from

Our 2 year old grandson has been recently diagnosed with a peanut allergy. So many questions go through your mind. How do we keep him safe? How do we communicate his needs to others - grandparents, aunts, uncles, sitters, etc. We live outside of Chicago and have found that each restaurant has been very receptive and cooperative when we give them a card denoting his allergy. The Food Allergy Restaurant Card is perfect for those times when we dine out as a family. It makes the wait staff, manager, and chefs clearly aware of what ingredients pose a danger to our two year old. We carry some with us whenever we are out. Thank You!
