How it works
The Santa Fe RX Dehumidifier utilizes refrigeration to cool an incoming air stream below dew point. The cooling results in the removal of moisture. An internal condensate pump has a 15' lift capacity, and comes with 20 feet of drain hose, for automatic water removal. Blower switch permits continuous blower operation for air filtration, independent of dehumidification. The unit is controlled by a dehumidistat with positive ON and OFF settings, as well as variable environment settings ranging from 20% to 80%.

Air filtration options
Standard air filtration is provided by a pleated polyester and cotton blend media filter, located at the top of the unit. The efficiency rating of this filter is 55% in the ASHRAE 52-76 Dust Spot Test, and MERV-8 in the ASHRAE 53.3P test. An optional HEPA filter is available for optimum air filtration, with ratings of 99.97%. A special filter housing can be used to hold two activated carbon and potassium permanganate blend filters, and two pleated filters instead of the HEPA filter. For a job that requires both HEPA filtration and activated carbon, loose fill carbon and potassium media is available in 5 gallon containers which can be loaded onto the pleats of the pre-filter.
