Description
The Austin Air Allergy Machine features a HEGA filter that makes it particularly useful in the gas and chemical filtration. Like other Austin filters, the full size version features 60 ft. of medical grade HEPA filter media while the Allergy Machine Jr. filter boasts 30 sq. ft. Both have a built-in medium size particle prefilter, and as the innermost layer of filtration, both filters feature a military-grade HEGA cloth. This HEGA filter employs activated carbon cloth to trap chemicals vapors such as ammonia and formaldehyde.
Replace this filter once every 3-5 years or as needed for best performance. Each HEGA filter also contains a large particle prefilter.
Select either the standard size HEGA filter or the Jr., then select a prefilter color. The black prefilter pairs with Machines that are Black, Silver, or Midnight Blue. The white filter pairs with Sandstone or White Allergy Machines. Each box contains one HEPA/HEGA filter and one prefilter. Models: FR405 & FR 205
